"At first glance, the room seemed clean and well organised, but unfortunately we discovered bed bugs in the bed, freely crawling around on the bedding. There were also dried blood stains on the sheets. Instead of a duvet, we were provided with a blanket and two sheets. Housekeeping was not provided at all during our stay. At reception, we were told that cleaning was not included, although this was not clearly stated during the booking process. I would also like to mention that when I informed reception about the bed bugs, the staff did not ask which room we were staying in or show any particular concern — I was simply told “sorry.” On the positive side, the room itself is well organised and the staff are generally polite. However, please note that reception is only open until 9 pm. The location is quite convenient for walking and is close to the Central Market. There is no complimentary drinking water; you need to use the vending machine. Be careful when paying with larger banknotes, as the machine did not give the correct change for notes above $5, and the staff were unable to help with this issue. The hotel does have parking, but it was full during our stay, so we used a nearby public car park instead."

"Amazing location and beautifully appointed, this venue is a delight. Everything you need and right in the heart of Pt Noarlunga. Rooms have good facilities, including some cooking capacity and to my joy, recliner chairs in the lounge (nothing like being able to put your feet up after a walk!) The weather was not good, but room was cosy and warm, I booked a Monday and Tuesday nights and the only drawback to that is the lack of venues open for dinner early in the week (thanks Mama Camilla's for a great meal Monday night). Thank you Deb and owners Bob and Judy for your warm welcome - will certainly be back again."

The rooms are well appointed and reception is always willing to provide recommendations for places to eat at. They were able to accommodate our request for an early check-in and late check-out. On the evening of our stay, it was raining and we were able to borrow umbrellas from the reception."
