"Stayed for two nights with my cat. The photos advertised have nothing to do with reality. The room has a weird smell from the sewage, but the owner claims it’s a machine that brings this smell up the room. Non-renovated bathroom, extremely hard mattress. When I went to pay, the owner refused to give me a receipt on the spot. They wanted to send it per post. I had to pay via card to have proof of my stay, I never received a receipt, not even via email as promised."

"We had gone with a group the previous weekend, we arrived in the evening, the single room I had was frozen, it had a small air conditioner which should have worked at least two 3 hours before! It took 4 hours until it warmed up because it was also cold. The breakfast was very poor and when it ran out they never replaced it"

"*This review will probably be deleted as the other low-rating reviews* We traveled to this hotel along with my cat with the expectation to have a nice vacation. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. Even if the host was welcoming on the phone prior to our arrival, I was utterly surprised with the unwelcoming, cold attitude the minute we arrived. I also kindly asked the cleaning lady of the chemical they use as cats are sensitive to strong chemicals and she was ironic and refused to respond. She was also the one at the reception desk! The staff hangs out at the pool….The room was ok, but really, we could not stay at such an unwelcoming place and left some hours later. Even if I strongly complained to the owners, they charged us 60€ for occupying their room for 2-3 hours. Needless to say, we could not leave at once as it was 39C and my kitty needed to stretch her legs, eat and rest from the trip. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Fantastic value. We paid a few pounds more for a "superior" room and were given room 17. Two balconies, with wraparound views. Certainly not a £50 view!! Can't rate highly enough. Right on the causeway so very convenient. Spent a very happy afternoon just sat on the balcony taking in the view."

"This small hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the Monemvasia peninsula. The rooms are admittedly a little outdated and could benefit from a refresh. However, we loved the peaceful surroundings and the small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast."
