"The hotel environment is beautiful and perfect for a vacation. We checked in on February 24th, and it was still quite busy. The surrounding area is also lovely, nestled among mountains with fresh air. However, since the holiday wasn't quite over, the occupancy rate was high, and the hotel staff were clearly insufficient, leading to inadequate service. The swimming pool was neglected, filled with fallen leaves, making it unusable. In the restaurant, there were only a few staff members who were overwhelmed and eventually just gave up. For breakfast, with so many people, they simply couldn't keep up with clearing tables. Overall, aside from the nice environment, the service was virtually non-existent. The staff seemed untrained and couldn't answer many questions. It felt like they were overwhelmed by the crowd today. We had booked for four nights, but couldn't stand it anymore, so we checked out two nights early. The hotel was good about providing a full refund, which was a plus. I'd recommend it for vacationers who prioritize the environment, but avoid going during peak times; maybe then the service would improve."

The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. If you're looking for a place that offers not just comfort but also an extraordinary sense of belonging, this is it. Highly recommended!"

We tasted amazing teas, tried local foods, made tea cakes, went to see ancient tea tree with him; he even invited us to dinner with his friends. Breakfast is amazing with view of clouds; the restaurant in the hotel has really good food. Fruit plate every afternoon; tea tasting with Jiangjiang, a Laobanzhang tea expert. We leaned so much about puer tea and tasted some of the best puer teas in the region. One of the most unforgettable stay ever for us and we are so grateful!"
