"I love this hotel. Take some walk you can get to metro station then visit many places! Vieux lyon , Fourviere, the halle de Lyon , parc de tete d'or . There are everything you need , microwave, TV water boiler, refrigerator, hangers, a cabin for cups ,plates , and cooking stove . This is the hotel I have seen that offers most for the customers !impressive
The only point I could pick is that it is not 24 hours reception. When I got there ,it already evening 10pm. I can only contact by phone and follow the instructions by calling
But the problem is I couldn't call when I don't have roaming nor French Sim card . This is quite nervous for me... i even not good at english numbering ,so if you couldn't really speak english nor french . Please be careful not to check in out of working hour ( it would be better if there is more urgent contact way )or maybe this is my problem....
Luckily I met a realllly kind customer, who helped me make the call and solve the check in problemwith me . Without him ,i can't imagine what would happen I mean .I really appreciate him (not sure if he would see this )also this kind gesture create a great impression to this trip !"

"The receptionist (a man from ***** *****, I don't remember his name :( ) was great, very friendly and helped us a lot. A wonderful person.
The room was very good.
The only drawback was that parking was not included in the accommodation and we had to pay for it separately."

"The apartment was in a great location. Metro was 3 metres, yes 3metres away. I want to give a shoutout to Joshua, he was working at reception and was very helpful. Thank you Joshua.
The air conditioning doesn’t work and hasn’t
Worked for a long time. But in April, a fan was good enough. I would go back again"

Amazing
DDoubleyouilliamSome places are simply unlike anything else, la Suite de l'Île Barbe is one of them. Tucked away on a small island in the middle of the Saône, it feels completely removed from the city despite being just minutes from Lyon. We stayed for a romantic weekend and it exceeded every expectation.
The setting is extraordinary. Waking up surrounded by water and greenery, with nothing but birdsong and the gentle sound of the river, is something you won't find in a conventional hotel. It genuinely feels like you've escaped to another world.
NNatalia BykodorovaThe hotel is conveniently located, near the train station, metro, tram. There are many restaurants / cafes around. Excellent breakfast.
The room is dark, I booked a room with a balcony, but when I arrived, they said that the rooms with balconies were being renovated and offered breakfast for the entire stay.
Overall, everything is fine, the most important thing is the location of the hotel, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable.

Great
BB ~ LengThe check-in went smoothly until the receptionist told us that we had requested a non-AC room (with the AC to be disconnected during our stay), supposedly based on a note from Trip.com. I told the receptionist that I definitely did not make such a request—especially not in the middle of summer—and asked to see the note from Trip.com.
They couldn’t show me the note and instead claimed that, since I was now denying the request, the note had already been removed.
We were checked into a non-AC room, and the hotel promised to send a technician to reboot the AC. That never happened. Eventually, we were moved to another room where the AC was already functioning.
The whole situation felt suspicious. It seemed like the receptionist was trying their luck by placing us in a non-AC room. What’s even more ironic is that the new room had a welcome note addressed to me, while the non-AC room was completely bare, with no such note.
We definitely won’t be coming back. The hotel staff came across as insincere and pretentious.

Very Good
GGuest UserStaying in this hotel was quite a miserable experience, barely adequate for a hostel, never mind a 3 star establishment.
The room (although quite clean) was tiny for our party of two. The luggage occupied almost half of the floor, making us jump over it when we needed to move across the room. The window was facing the railway, which was expected on the one hand, but sleeping with it open was very noisy in the morning.
Here is the list of things that were missing compared to a standard hotel experience:
- no kettle (had to be asked for)
- just two paper/plastic cups in the bathroom, no ceramic mugs in the room
- no tea, coffee or anything really to have a snack with
- no safe in the room (common one at the reception)
- no fridge (seriously?)
- no slippers (and they don’t provide them)
- no towel heaters or radiators in the room
- just 3 towels for two people, no hand towels
- no bath robes
- no bide or hygienic shower
- no toilet brush (are you for real?)
- one trash can (without a bag)
- extremely small rooms, no adequate space for two luggage bags
On the positive side, the breakfast was decent, though nothing to write home about. Hot and protein-rich options were definitely limited.
The staff were friendly and helpful. However, upon check-in, I was charged 60EUR as a damage deposit which was not stated when I booked a room. I’m yet to have it returned.
The hotel/network drives this alleged “eco-friendly” agenda but in reality it’s just extreme economy and penny-pinching at the guests’ expense. Very disappointing. 1/5.

GGuest UserReally liked it because of the heater! The room had no tea pod nor fridge. For hot water to drink you need to go to the breakfast room, which is in another building. My room was kinda smelly, not sure about the source as everything was clean and tidy. Bearable, but I’d prefer it withou smell. Water from bathroom shower pours on the room floor even if you are try not to spray it much. Also might be a bit noisy, but I was fortunate to have neighbours that are not active at night and in the morning.
Would recommend considering all this possible inconvenience

GGuest UserWe arrived at 10 a.m. to deposit our luggage and enjoy Lyon before the scheduled check-in at 15h. The hotel, very beautiful and easily accessible from the city centre in transport, offers drinks available in the hall a good point. However, at our return at 15:00, the glasses we used in the morning were still there, which indicates a certain lack of attention to service and cleanliness.
Another surprise point: the toilets available in the hall were not provided in wallpapers at 10h, and this was still not corrected at 15h.
The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The noise of the screener made this moment particularly unpleasant. It is surprising that such a interview was scheduled after 15:00, while it could be held between 10:00 and 15:00, period without clients in the rooms.
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very comfortable. It is easy to imagine how much a small swimming pool or wellness area (sauna/jacuzzi) would add to the general comfort.
Finally, a word on breakfast: really excellent. Various, abundant and very good quality. Only bemol: vinerians that would win from a real craft cake.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, just about 100 meters from the subway exit. There's a supermarket about a 5-minute walk away, and during the day, there's a small market near the subway station where you can buy fresh fruit. Being on the main road means you don't have to worry about coming back late at night. The room size was decent, especially considering European rooms tend to be small, and the cleanliness was also good. My only complaint is the terrible soundproofing; you can hear people walking around upstairs very clearly, which made it hard to sleep at night.

くくみっぺThe room was clean, but the temperature was too cold, and I caught a cold. The complimentary coffee in the evening wasn't very good.
Having a refrigerator and kitchenette in the room was convenient, but the room was generally small.
There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient for getting around.

GGuest UserNice place, good location, very nice garden and spa
However the listing was indicating the wrong location: this is not located at bellecourt 5 but in the old town. And the entry code didn’t work, host difficult to reach… in the end it worked out well but it was not the best experience. Maybe you will have better luck :)
