The hotel was easy to find and the room was spacious. Overall, no major issues, but the attention to detail was severely lacking. The hygiene standards were frankly unacceptable. For a Marriott brand, the cleanliness was worse than some budget chain hotels. The amenities in the bathroom weren't great, especially the comb which was really hard to use. And was I too late for breakfast? There was absolutely nothing left to eat, even the coffee was undrinkable.

This is considered a good hotel for the area. The rooms are tidy, clean, spacious, and bright. If you get a higher floor, it's also pretty quiet. I heard the lower floors can have a strong smoke smell, so a higher floor would be better.

Baoding is such a hidden gem, and so is this hotel! What an unexpected surprise – a truly peaceful stay. We happened to be there during the Baoding Marathon, and the hotel was incredibly well-prepared. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Decided to take an impulsive trip to Baoding for some donkey-meat burgers, and spontaneously booked a hotel – turned out to be a delightful surprise! The lobby and front desk had a lovely scent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The room design was very trendy, and the mini-bar even came with complimentary drinks and a welcome fruit platter. I woke up thirsty at 3 AM, asked for water, and it was delivered instantly. When the robot was busy, the staff promptly brought my takeout orders to my room – I had three deliveries, and each time, a staff member patiently brought them up. So thoughtful! Next time I'm in Baoding, I'm definitely staying here again!

Great value for money, but the parking lot doesn't have fast chargers; you have to go to the Red Star Macalline across the street for that. The bathroom layout is really poorly designed; if someone is showering or using the toilet, you can't open the door. I heard many guests complaining about this – even a curtain would help!

The rooms are comfortable and the environment is great, with excellent facilities and service. This will be my top choice for accommodation every time I visit Baoding!

My stay here was excellent. The location is super convenient, making transportation and getting around a breeze. My room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk and staff were all very warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was very hygienic. Overall, it was quiet and comfortable, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely be back!

Fairfield by Marriott Baoding: A Bumpy Journey but a Comfortable Stay, Though Hygiene Details Were Disappointing. This stay was quite a journey, literally. The first time I navigated, I accidentally drove to the Xiong'an New Area branch, and it took another hour and a half to drive back to this Baoding location. Although the journey was tiring, the comfortable amenities upon arrival made up for some of the fatigue. The hotel exterior is modern and grand, and the lobby is spacious and bright. Check-in at the front desk was very efficient. The room was a standard king-size, with a Serta mattress and waffle-weave bedding that was just the right firmness for a good night's sleep. The hotel is located in downtown Baoding, with convenient dining and shopping nearby; there's a snack street and a supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. However, the only truly disappointing aspect was that the room's cleanliness wasn't thorough enough. On the bathroom wall, there was still a used bandage from the previous guest. This sight was really off-putting and made me question the standard of room cleaning. Overall, aside from this obvious hygiene lapse, the hotel's facilities and service were good. I hope the hotel can improve its room inspection process so that such details don't ruin the overall experience. If the hygiene improves, I would still consider staying here next time I visit Baoding.
