Great
GGuest UserThe Mena House's views and location are truly unbeatable, one of a kind in the world. You can only fully experience the pyramids from sunrise, midday, to sunset by staying here. As night falls, without the pyramid lights, they appear exceptionally serene and mysterious, framed by the hotel's lights and palm trees. This is an experience that simply can't be replicated by just visiting for a quick photo. The hotel also carries immense historical significance. The Cairo Conference was signed here, and photos of the 'Big Three' from that era hang on the walls, full of historical resonance. For me, paying for this unique scenery and historical ambiance was absolutely worth it; I have no regrets. However, frankly speaking, the hotel's amenities, service, and attention to detail absolutely do not match its price (you're paying for the location, not the service). The hairdryer has weak power, leaving my hair dry and frizzy at the ends. The toiletries, especially the toothpaste, are of poor quality, like a product without any brand or quality assurance. There's only one type of pillow, and it's so soft it offers no support whatsoever. After one night, my neck was aching – not what you'd expect from a high-end hotel. The restaurant experience was also terrible: I ordered soup, and it was served without a spoon. I couldn't find one anywhere, and by the time the waiter brought one, the soup was completely cold. The restaurant staff would even specifically ask if everything was satisfactory, but by then, complaining felt pointless, so I could only say 'it's fine.' What was even more unsettling was the fake, superficial service. When I genuinely needed help or efficiency, no one was around. When checking out, my suitcase had spinner wheels and was very easy to push, but a staff member insisted on 'helping' with it, performing this kind of meaningless, superficial gesture. In summary: Staying here means paying for the pyramid views and the historical sentiment, not for comfort and service. Those who value scenery and historical significance might find it acceptable, but anyone seeking genuine service quality and a premium lodging experience will definitely be disappointed.

GGuest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The lobby was beautifully maintained, and check-in was smooth and efficient. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-organized — you can really see the attention to detail. One of the highlights of my stay was the tour packages offered by the hotel. They were well-organized, reasonably priced, and a perfect way to explore the Egypt Cairo stress-free. I truly enjoyed the tours and appreciated how convenient they made the trip. The hotel also offers very affordable transfer services, which was a huge plus.🤩😊 They were always on time and made traveling to and from the airport or tour locations much easier and hassle-free. Their dedication, reliability, and hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable. Thank you for going above and beyond — your efforts made my trip memorable. WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK 😊

SSQLilyThe hygiene was excellent, and the room was very spacious and clean, meeting the usual Sheraton standards. The facilities were quite new, and there were several restaurants, though they closed relatively early in the evening. There was also a pool, gym, and conference center. The environment was impressive, with a large lobby connected to a cafe and restaurants. The hotel consists of two buildings, linked by a swimming pool on the second-floor skybridge. It’s a rather grand, traditional five-star hotel. The service, both in the restaurants and room service, was very good, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Even though it was busy, the staff were always smiling and welcoming. The breakfast restaurant has an excellent location, directly overlooking the most beautiful stretch of the Nile River. The breakfast spread was very generous, and all the juices were freshly squeezed.

GGuest UserWe had a very good stay in the hotel, I would like to thanks Mohamed and Mustafa for their great service, they make us feel extremely comfortable, for every single thing we required they were always ready to help us, maybe something to improve is the internet connection but not big deal, for sure I would come back.

GGuest UserThe staff are all very helpful. The toilet and shower are also beautiful. There are soap, tissues and toilet paper. The door has a key and a chain lock. There is also a safe in the room. It was a very nice hotel. I moved to a different hotel now but I want to return to this hotel again (-_-)

GGuest UserThe hotel and room were clean and gave you a feel of Egypt, and the shower had good water pressure. You can see the three great pyramids from the rooftop, but unfortunately the Sphinx was hidden by trees and only its face could be seen! Breakfast is not a buffet, but an omelet, bread, tomato-stewed vegetables, and yogurt. When I stayed at another Giza hotel on a different day, I was given a welcome drink and an introduction to the pyramid view, but there was no such thing here, and when I checked in, I was a little confused because I didn't have a reservation, but in the end I found a reservation. . I think it would be a better hotel if there was more welcoming service.

ЕЕлена001The hotel is located right next to the entrance to the Giza plateau, which is its main advantage. We booked a more expensive room with a balcony and a pyramid view. While you can see the pyramids, there's a construction site directly below the windows. This spoils the entire view, and it's quite noisy from the ongoing construction work. The builders didn't even stop in the evenings. There's also a lot of noise transfer from neighbors – constant slamming doors and conversations. The room itself is far from new, and the towels are very worn out. There are no slippers, but toiletries are provided. There's a kettle (which gives off a plastic smell when boiling) and two cups (which looked like they hadn't been washed, with tea stains). A big disappointment was the hotel staff. We had planned to have dinner in the hotel's pyramid-view restaurant in the evening. When checking in, we asked if a reservation was needed and were told it wasn't, just to show up. However, we couldn't get in because the restaurant was fully booked by a large group. One of the hotel staff members kept shouting that everything was reserved and wouldn't let us sit down or even look at the menu. When we asked for five minutes to choose a dish for dinner, he just repeated the same thing and shooed us away. We ended up having dinner in our room, but this situation severely soured our impression of the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel. If and when a new building is constructed in front of the hotel, it might completely lose any advantages it currently has.

GGuest UserThe location is super great. The hotel is located in front of the gate on the Sphinx side of the pyramids. There is a ticket booth diagonally in front of the hotel, and there is nothing blocking the view on the terrace, so you can watch the night show while eating here. The room is clean and spacious. The servers at the restaurant are very kind. The food is not expensive for a hotel, so we ate here. You need to make a reservation to eat on the rooftop, but the view from the lowest terrace (no reservation required) is better because there is nothing blocking the view. The only drawback is that the water pressure in the shower is so weak that it is the weakest I have ever experienced overseas, and I was worried about whether I could wash my feet. Also, the drainage is poor, so my feet get wet every time I use the toilet afterwards. However, the location and the view are good, so I am satisfied.

SSkee82Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory. Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk.. This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything.. The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience, The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged.. Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning. The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show. Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views
