Temporary itinerary, so it was more than seven o'clock in the evening that day, and arrived before nine o'clock. Because it was a homestay, I needed to check in by myself. At that time, the store did not reply to the information in time. I contacted the small housekeeper directly. The response was quite timely and gave praise ～. The environment is good, the health is also very good, the bed is very big, I belong to the higher sleep requirements, the living environment gives full marks! A little distance from the University Town of Coimbra, but it is very convenient to take a taxi. Overall, I am very satisfied with ～.

Hotel restaurant is very good. The breakfast had a decent variety specially taking into account the price per night.  The rooms are new but they are poorly insulated when it comes to noise, you can hear everything going on outside. If someone closes the door, you hear it like its your room.

The hotel reception was poor, no effort was made to inform us of the hotel’s amenities or location of the amenities. The port wine at the reception was on display but was never offered to us or the other guests. The cleaning staff were very friendly, congratulations. The heating unit was located outside near the window of the room and was surprisingly loud. The worst of all was a male guest using the sauna and steam room while completely *****! Shocking lack of hygiene!!!

The parking lot outside the hotel says that the hotel is dedicated, but the hotel said that they don't know what the situation is. It is recommended to park in the parking lot downstairs. There is no place to eat nearby. The facilities are generally old.

The hotel is in the city center, within walking distance of the monastery and city hall, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making life very convenient. Parking is in the public underground parking lot not far away, which is free and very good. The breakfast tastes good.

A Wonderful Stay in Coimbra! I stayed at The Luggage for just one night, but it left such a wonderful impression that I would absolutely choose to stay here again without a second thought. The hotel itself is located in a beautiful, historic building that perfectly blends traditional charm with excellent interior design. The high ceilings and massive windows give the rooms an incredibly spacious and airy feel, making the stay feel extra special. Beyond the gorgeous architecture, the service was top-notch. The receptionist spoke excellent English, was extremely welcoming, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Overall, this hotel truly elevated my experience and left me with the best memories of Coimbra. Highly recommended!
