"We had a wonderful stay at Oaks Perth Hotel, and the biggest highlight was definitely the location. It’s only about a 3-minute walk to Perth Underground Station, which connects directly to Perth Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city and travel to places like Fremantle and beyond. The hotel is also within walking distance of plenty of shopping, including Kmart, Woolworths, Sephora, and many other stores, so everything we needed was close by. As Muslim travellers, we also appreciated that there was a Malaysian restaurant serving halal food just a short walk away, along with several other halal dining options nearby. The room itself was comfortable, although it is a little dated. It was spacious enough for our family, and the largest room could comfortably accommodate up to six adults with one main bed and two sofa beds. The kids especially loved having their own little space in front of the TV. The pillows were very comfortable, and while our booking didn’t include housekeeping, it wasn’t an issue since we were only staying for a few days. My only suggestions for improvement would be to provide a sponge holder in the kitchenette and a little more dishwashing liquid, as only two small packets were provided. We also noticed that a few of the pots and some dishware still had stains on them, so a little more attention to the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils would make the stay even better. I didn’t manage to take many photos during our stay (just this one!), but I can say that the hotel’s listing photos are an accurate representation of the rooms. What you see is truly what you get, which we really appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The unbeatable location made getting around Perth so easy, and we’d definitely consider staying here again on our next visit."

"Unbeatable location with a stunning ocean view— Watching the sunset over the water was absolutely magical. The hotel itself is well-placed, and you can’t beat the scenery. That said, a few things fell short. The hotel pool was under renovation during our stay, and while they offered free access to the public beach pool as an, it was a real stretch, especially in winter at night. Walking back to the hotel wet and shivering in the cold breeze was not ideal, as there was no blow dryer available in the public pool to help dry off. Great views, but be prepared for some logistical hiccups if you're visiting off-season"

"Reception staff very helpful & friendly. My only concern (not the resorts responsibility), was  the behaviour of a large group of teenagers racing around the complex, swearing loudly, through car parks & stairs, after dark past 8.30, they ran into me as I was holding a bag of hot food & there were elderly guests moving around too. The youths showed no respect or consideration for the other guests & at no time did I see or hear the adults they were with."

"I had a very comfortable stay this time. The hotel environment was excellent, with some green plants that made it very pleasant. The location was also convenient and quiet. What I was most satisfied with was the cleanliness. The room was impeccably clean—the sheets and duvet covers were perfectly flat and spotless; the floor was gleaming, with no dust in the corners; the bathroom mirror was polished to a shine, and the countertop was spotless. The air conditioner even had a faint fragrance, which made me feel restful. All the facilities were complete and easy to use. If I weren't in a rush, I would have loved to stay a couple more days."

"Cons: parking a bit limited, unsecure. Elevator is functional but a bit scary for my partner. A microwave or similar would have been nice? Or even just cutlery? In places, property is showing age but within reason. Noise through floors/walls from other guests, even closing doors a floor above is very audible let alone TV/etc Shower head needed descaling and was a bit erratic Pros: On beachfront, although our view was a bit obstructed. Dining next door has always been excellent, great food. Room was large, functional, and quite clean and pleasant. Bed was comfortable, pillows pleasant and linen clean. Check in and out was easy and simple. Overall, I'd stay here again and plan to book a room again in December. Our 2 nights here were great, and watching the water from our table having dinner in the rain was fantastic. If you're expecting a 5-star resort, you'll be dissapointed. If you want a clean, large, comfortable room, in a good location and easy access to good food (recommend the fish and chip shop 5 mins away), and just a pleasant beach front stay? Book here."

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Fremantle. I advised the office when I booked it was mine and my partners anniversary. We arrived to a lovely bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful handwritten card! The only complaint I have is the abysmal breakfast. $72 for 2 people. Hot food was luke warm at best, the scrambled eggs were sloppy. Tried to eat but ended up not being able to stomach it. Really disappointing end to a wonderful stay."

"We had booked a standard king room with a city view (listed on Trip.com as 40 m²), but when we arrived the room was a different size — and it felt like it might be *******. We checked in at around 11 p.m., unpacked, and finally went to bed at about 1 a.m. The hotel’s soundproofing was excellent and the neighborhood itself was very quiet. Still, after I’d fallen asleep I began to hear someone playing the piano. At first I thought I was dreaming, but the sound grew louder and then I heard heavy footsteps right beside my bed."
