Be. Fremantle Hotels in Perth

Be. Fremantle

"⭐️ 1-Star Review Very disappointing and misleading experience. This hotel intentionally misleads guests with hidden terms and unclear policies. When I checked in, the front desk never mentioned any “terms and conditions” about cleaning dishes or taking out rubbish before check-out. There were no in-room guidelines, no signage, and no written notice anywhere about this rule. After I checked out, the hotel suddenly tried to deduct extra cleaning fees, even though I had already paid a cleaning fee through the booking platform. This is completely unreasonable and feels like a trick to mislead customers. The sofa was dusty, the floor had visible dust and sand, and toiletries were never replenished during my stay. I even covered the sofa with a bedsheet because it wasn’t clean enough to sit on. It’s disappointing that instead of improving cleanliness, the hotel blames guests for “extra cleaning.” If you value transparency and fair service, be very careful when booking this place"

Ocean Reef Homestay Hotels in Perth

Ocean Reef Homestay

"This was the most inhospitable homestay I’ve experienced in over 10 years. The room was extremely small, with barely any space to move around, and definitely not suitable for two people. The bedsheets had an unpleasant smell, as if they hadn’t been properly washed. There were no convenient charging points near the bed, so I had to leave my phone on the floor to charge due to the awkward power outlet location. The fridge in the room was also very noisy at night, which made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, there were mosquitoes in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. The swimming pool was very small and did not match the photos shown. Furthermore, there were multiple discrepancies between the listing and the actual experience. The booking policy stated that breakfast would be available until 10 AM; however, during my stay, the host told me breakfast service ended at 9 AM, which was misleading and inconvenient. Overall, a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this place to other guests."

Discovery Parks - Coogee Beach Hotels in Perth

Discovery Parks - Coogee Beach

"We visited the Coogee Beach WA Discovery Park over Easter/Anzac Day this year. I understand that it’s Easter so should expect to pay a “premium” but the premium we paid did not reflect the quality that I would have expected of a Discovery Parks Cabin. As I had always believed Discovery Parks to be of much better condition, I have decided to share this feedback with you as I was not able to include photos in the feedback survey that I completed and if this sort of sub standard “quality” is not reported, how do you know? We paid $315 per night for a total of 5 nights ($1575). The staff I encountered, whilst “friendly” were not particularly helpful. They were merely “ticking the boxes” of being there. The location was great. The camp kitchen was very good. I suspect because the park permanent residents probably make sure the kitchen space is kept tidy and well looked after as they use it for their social club. We spent the 2nd half of our visit on a powered site so got to use the amenities and they were for the most part, OK. They were as I would expect them to be. The cabin we were placed in was dirty, there were cobwebs in the toilet, and dirt on the floor. There were broken things like the plastic holders for the blind chords and a tap in the kitchen with a piece broken off it. The cabin walls need a coat of paint and hole’s fixed, the bathroom was terrible."

"We had a wonderful stay for my birthday and the staff are very attentive and kind, we were upgraded which was amazing! The spa, pool and the breakfast+++ I gave 4/5 for cleanliness because we found glass marks on the table and hair in the seat, but everything else was great, i recommend!"

Como the Treasury Hotels in Perth

Como the Treasury

"A distinctive hotel with a minimalist aesthetic, one that strives to have personalized service but perhaps overstretches what it can accomplish. Very spacious rooms, almost too spacious given the design features, unless one plans to entertain, and limitations in practical design—the one small table in my room was nearly three meters from a power outlet, making it a burden to keep a computer charged. I had an oddly unhelpful exchange with the concierge before arrival (as if I didn’t know how to use Google) and little subsequent support. On the pro side, the room was spotless and truly refreshed twice a day, and the breakfast was quite generous, the quality excellent. Indeed the restaurants were the real highlight—the beetroot risotto was wonderfully rich and flavorful, sweetness tempered by a generous addition of parmigiana. Yet overall, I think if I return to Perth I will try the Ritz Carleton."

"We arrived at the hotel around 9am and had wanted to deposit our luggage but was told that our room  was ready and we could check in! Thanks Marcia and Marjaa-lis! The room was clean, shower pressure was good, fridge was cold  , beds were comfy and you had everything you need for a good stay. The towels could be softer though, but overall I am happy. Breakfast was nice with a good spread and coffee  and tea were were fantastic. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Thanks Binisha and Laura for the warmth and welcoming smiles. See ya soon!"

Hostel G Perth ★★
"Not recommended for tourists. There is currently a housing/rental crisis in Australia (one of the worst being Perth), and many locals who cannot afford to rent a room are choosing to stay in hostels. For this reason, the (mixed) dorms are filled with people who call this place home and leave things lying around the room. After a long day of my trip, I would usually return around 10-11pm. Two guys in my room would be asleep so I tried to be as quiet as possible after returning. The last guy returned at 12am+ (maybe after work), and would make a bunch of really loud noises, waking the three of us up. The other two guys would wake up at 6am+ (maybe to go to work), and would also make a bunch of noises. I booked this place for 5 nights, and had to move out during the second night to stay at a homestay, due to the noises (there was nothing in the room, such as a fan or an air dehumidifier for example, to provide white noise)."

"When we opened our room for the first time, a smell of unwashed feet immediately hit us. The carpet in the room had a horrible smell. Some previous guest obviously didn't wash his/her smelly feet for months and the hotel housecleaning did not clean the carpet after his/her stay. It was really very unpleasant."

"The location is great. We arrived during midnight and before that the hotel has alrd sent email about the password and instructions about how to check in. They gave us free welcome drink for each person which u can redeem at their bar. The room is clean and comfortable. They also provided free mineral water. However, since below is the bar so my friend find it a little bit noisy. But it was OK for me."
