"Staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge was a fantastic experience! Right upon arrival, I was greeted with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie, which was a lovely and comforting treat. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect – just a few minutes' walk from Perth Train Station, surrounded by countless restaurants and Chinatown, making it incredibly convenient for dining and exploring. Elizabeth Quay is also not far away. The room itself was modern and clean, with comfortable bedding and quality toiletries. From the higher floors, you can even enjoy city views. The hotel offers an outdoor pool and a 24-hour gym, perfect for unwinding in your free time. The front desk staff were very friendly, and check-in was quick and efficient. The free WiFi was also consistently stable. The only minor drawback is that the hotel doesn't have its own dedicated parking, so you'll need to use nearby public parking. Overall, it offers great value for money, and it's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Perth!"

"I got checked in hassle free by Joanne from front office even though I arrived a bit early they took note of my request as I was travelling and had a 10 hr trip. The breakfast was ok though a bit pricey nothing extraordinary one can definitely go outside for more options as the location is quite strategic. Parking should be considered to be free especially on weekends where it’s free in parking areas. Jervis,Alex and Andrea from concierge were all polite and friendly. Rada from housekeeping took care of my room and was friendly and professional. I will still stay and recommend the hotel overall the stay was very good and the hotel staff were quite knowledgeable and had impressive customer service."

"First of all the price is good. Lost and found services is reliable and work well but response is slow. Staff is kind and understand for early arriving customers. Cleanliness is above average but calcium around tap is not treated. Stay is pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended."

Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!"

"The Executive Lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, with a great variety of food and drinks, making it excellent value for money. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and you're just a few steps away from a river view, which is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking, and parking nearby is expensive, so it's not ideal if you're driving. Other than that, everything else is superb."

"The location is really convenient, very close to many tour meeting points and major five-star hotels. It's also near the beach and the mint! The service was great, quick and efficient! I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews, but it turned out to be much better than expected. The dining table was nice, even though we didn't use the kitchen. There's a small balcony with excellent light."

"The place was really spacious, which I loved. The air conditioning was strong, and it was very clean. It was okay that there wasn't an elevator, but since the ground floor is a bar and cafe, just like its name suggests, there was some noise. Now I understand why they provide earplugs! I personally wasn't bothered by it at all and had a great stay, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to noise. It offers amazing value for money, and I loved that you could take as much drinking water as you wanted. Plus, you can order one complimentary beer or coffee per day, and they taste really good. I had a delicious chocolate latte with plenty of cocoa powder and whipped cream. Everyone was so friendly, so I definitely recommend it!^^~"

"It was more than i expected. I love to stay at The Great Southern Hotel Perth. Eventhough just one night but i enjoyed it. The room is spotless, good maintanance, very modern. The receptionist was so helpful showing how to self check in as i never done it before. The location is close to restaurants, chemist and shops. Best!!!!!"

"We stayed as a family with a 2year old. I wouldn't consider this a 5 star, perhaps more of a 4 star. When we arrived late at night, tired from a long drive, there was no bell boy to assist us with luggage direct to room, and esp with a kid in tow it was difficult. However one of our bags broke and the staff did help us get a bag from their store. Also no toothbrush was provided upon check in day and we found out next day only that it has to be requested, seriously, this is a very basic necessity to have at least for 1st day. The decor was intended to be classy but we found it a tad bit dark. The worst part was the bed was way too soft and sunk in, I had a backache the next days. :( On a positive note the bath tub was huge, toilet was spacious with 2 sinks! My kid enjoyed the bath tub. Also they did prepare the cot in the room when we arrived and I was very pleased. The next day I asked for high chair and it was timely placed at our room when we got back. Overall the staff were responsive. Also the breakfast was Ala carte, not buffet, but it was nicely cooked - however they did not offer a kids menu. The location is close to cbd shopping but do take note parking at hay street has day charges/hourly charges which you should factor to the value of your stay. Most shops closes early around 5pm by the time we got back from our day trips. Overall this hotel was more for couples or business stay and not so kid/family friendl, but that's just my opinion!"
