"I love the location so much! Walking distance to so many places, CAT bus blue line bus stop is just 5 mins walking distance away. The facilities in the hostel is just nice. You can also pay $10 as deposit for towel."

"The family room was great, very spacious with large beds. I looked at a lot of hotels in Perth, and many twin rooms had very narrow beds, but this place was perfect. It's also very close to the Pan Pacific, where we stayed previously. We booked it for our last night after a road trip. The service was excellent. The only minor inconvenience was that there's no ramp for luggage; you have to go up stairs to the entrance. Perth isn't very big, so it's easy to walk everywhere from here."

"In a great location near Elizabeth Quay, and Langley park for Australia day fireworks and other events. We stayed in a Premium room with river view. It was spacious, modern and with a great shower. The view was nice, but would be great if the windows weren't so narrow. The walls were way too thin for a luxury hotel though. We could hear the conversations of the guests in the room next to us, and they woke us up when they came back to the room at 1am. That's the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"Mountway Hotel Apartment: A Budget Gem for Asian Travelers in Perth I recently stayed at Mountway Hotel Apartment in Perth, and I must say it’s one of the best options in its price range, especially for Asian travelers looking for a long-term stay with self-catering facilities. Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!"

"Perfect location for a short stay. The hotel is central, there is a wonderful bar and restaurant if it gets late and you prefer to stay in. We had a drink at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. There’s a pool and gym which is great to have on hot days. It was close to many shops and restaurants which is ideal as you don’t have to travel far also to enjoy the pier and city views."

"This hotel in East Perth is incredibly well-located, essentially just a street away from the CBD, making it super convenient for sightseeing. While the facilities are a bit dated, the room was spotless. The breakfast offered great value for money, and the service was excellent. Plus, they have free parking."

"The room was clean and the service was attentive and warm. They cleaned the room promptly, changed the linens, and provided complimentary water. The lobby also has a bar and restaurant, which is convenient for meetings and entertaining guests."

"Location was fantastic. It was minutes away from Perth train station and busport, malls and supermarkets. Facilities-wise, the hotel interior definitely looked way older than the pictures. The wooden floor creaks with every step I take. The power plugs were located and hidden at weird parts of the room. I had to use the electric kettle in the bathroom. The TV remote control does not work, there were only 2-3 watchable channels depending on luck with the TV reception. The toiletries provided was just a tube of shampoo and a small bar of soap for my 5 nights stay, The bathroom was very clean and spotless, only problem is the leaky taps. The room and sheets and towels were clean as well, except the carpet felt icky. Would be good to have some indoor slippers. The receptionist could be more friendly in his appearance and tone. I appreciated that he allowed me to deposit my luggage earlier and also to check in early at 1pm. But the way I was spoken to was very transactional and something he wanted to get done with. For example, I was not informed of the free wifi in the hotel until I asked about it."

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit the main attractions. The concierge staff were exceptionally friendly and responsible, truly commendable. Before checking in, I had noted some special requests, like wanting a room with a good view. However, when I arrived to check in that evening, an Indian-looking male duty manager with glasses told me they hadn't received any such notes and that the hotel was fully booked. He then proceeded to suggest that a room with a better view would require an upgrade fee, and so on… His attitude was also very cold. The poor view from my room for all four nights was a definite letdown."

"This hotel is located near the Elizabeth Quay within walking distance and the walk along the lake is amazing. The view of the hotel room is breathtaking especially during sunset and sunrise. Yes. You can see both! Service from the team is excellent and I cannot ask for more. The gym is equipped with good equipment and the conveniences of IGA supermarket being part of the complex helped us to get anything we missed. Highly recommended."
