"Location is fantastic - right in the middle of everything but very quiet. The room has a mini fridge which is perfect. There is a communal coffee / tea area, which is nice. Could store luggage after check out which is a major plus. The local bus station is about 10 minute walk away for cheap bus to the airport. Bed was very comfy too (even as a single bed!)"

SSeat 2AThis is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away.
Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality.
My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable:
* Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant
* In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient.
Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

GGuest UserWhen we read the previous review, we couldn't believe it. But we got to experience it ourselves... wow, what a hotel. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed by Željka and immediately received a welcome drink. We received a Split card along with a lot of useful information. She then escorted us to our beautiful suite. There was nothing to fault in the room. Safe, fridge, kettle, hairdryer... everything was there!! Our first breakfast was a very unique, but positive experience. A selection of treats was offered to us and turned out to be perfectly chosen. The service was 200% in order and, as some before us have already written... sometimes a bit too much, but you get used to that quickly. On day two, we met Marija. She shone just as brightly, just like Željka. On the last day, we got to know Dea. She equals the other two ladies and helped us perfectly with the problems we experienced with our airline.
During our stay, the room was kept immaculately clean every day. So our thanks also to the cleaning ladies!! This hotel is definitely highly recommended and.....we will certainly be back here!!!!

XXXXThe host is very friendly and welcoming, will introduce delicious restaurants nearby and tour groups around, even if I live in the highest three-story room, I will help me with my luggage. The accommodation is very, very close to the attractions, really located in the city center, basically can be said to be those attractions downstairs. However, it will be a bit noisy, but as long as the window is closed, the problem is not big. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee are provided. You can use the kettle in the room to brew directly. There is also a refrigerator for drinks to be placed inside. The bathroom is also very spacious, with towels, hand sanitizer, hair dryer and more available. The accommodation also offers breakfast. It is a two-minute restaurant nearby. Three meals are available for breakfast. Orange juice and coffee are also available. In summary, in addition to going up to the third floor, it can basically be said to be perfect.

BBENNET LIMThe size of the room is very comfortable w a homely settings and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very generous as it comes w a side bar of fruits and yogurt. However, if you have lots of luggage, you would have to be prepared to climb flights if stairs. The other thing we had a small issue is the check out time, 11am and the max the host is willing to push is 11:30am. So we had to check out at 9am.

HHeather_MaeI had a fantastic stay! The property was super easy to find using Google Maps, and the receptionist was kind and very helpful right from the start. My room was spacious, clean, and looked exactly like the photos — no surprises. Bonus: the TV has Netflix! The area around the hotel is peaceful and quiet. I could occasionally hear other guests closing their doors, but otherwise it was very calm. It’s about a 12–15 minute walk to the Old Town, which made it easy to explore while still being able to come back to a quiet, relaxing space. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

GGuest UserPro - very close to the Golden Gate and is easy to find. Check in is straightforward. The room is on the first floor above ground so it wasn't the most difficult thing to lift our luggages up.
Con - (1) the actual room looks nothing like the pictures online. The online pictures (taken with wide lens mode) show the room to be much larger and brighter, whereas the room is in fact very small and relatively poorly lit. For one, the bed is literally two footsteps away from the door, and we were struggling to find space to open our luggages.
(2) One of the beds in the room is in fact a sofa bed, but the property did not declare this when we booked. We spent a lot of time trying to book places which do not use sofa beds but actual beds, and so we can't help but feel that we were misled and misrepresented to.
(3) There is a bit of noise. The property is right next to the road and near a pub with some rowdy youths at times.
(4) Facilities are minimal. There is only one chair, and the table is very small. Everything else is basic. Nothing luxurious about it despite its name and the photos.
(5) There is no lift at the property.
We would not have chosen this property if we had a second chance.

GGuest UserIt was convenient because it was close to tourist spots and bus terminals. There were many delicious restaurants nearby. I had to call the owner to check in for myself, so I asked my neighbor's brother to help me.
