Scandic Kokstad
"Good, very close to the airport"
Haukeland Hotell
"I think this was a really nice hotel. Comfortable bed and room. I really liked the desk and chair. Good breakfast. The only thing I didn't like is that unlike most other hotels, when leaving the room you need to lock the door yourself by swiping the keycard on the lock. The location is a bit remote, but on the other hand this is a great "base camp" if you're planning to hike Mt Ulriken for example. And the walk to the city center is only 30 min or so."
Citybox Bergen Danmarksplass
"Rebooked this place after our first stay coz its beds are really comfy, and is strategically located to where we were supposed to pick up our rental car (3 min walk away). Value for money hotel! The self-service check in is pretty straight forward too."
Scandic Bergen City
"The room itself was good and offered a nice view, but the service was highly disappointing. One of the staff members was quite rude during our interactions. Furthermore, during our entire four-night stay, our room was never cleaned. I actually had to fetch fresh towels and change the bedsheets myself."
Scandic Torget Bergen
"Scandic Torget in Bergen has its pros and cons. The staff were friendly and the location is great right by the fish market and close to attractions. The view is nice too. Breakfast was busy and the food was just okay with limited options. The door lock was frustrating because it didn’t always lock right away. One of the elevators felt a bit unsafe and almost got stuck. Overall, it’s a decent hotel but needs some improvements."
Citybox Bergen City
"Walkable from the station, but it's really, really small! Very cramped! Service was also just average."
Home Hotel Havnekontoret
"I'm quite satisfied with your hotel. The hygiene is good and the environment is nice. It's great that you offer both breakfast and dinner. However, I'm very angry that the glass door of the balcony can't be locked inside. I couldn't sleep well at night. We talked to the lady at the front desk, but she didn't solve this problem well. It's very regrettable."
Moxy Bergen
"The reason I give three star because we found hairs on the bed on the day we just check in. They change the room for us but a new room also has hairs on the bed, I guess it’s all stick to the quilt cover. Other than that, location a bit far because the tram on that line was on track works, so we need to walk a long way. Service is good, buffet breakfast also good. We choose the Sea-view room, which is good."
Bergen Hostel Montana
"Pretty good overall. The public transportation is very convenient, and breakfast was filling. The only issue is I borrowed a hairdryer and the deposit still hasn't been refunded after a week."
Øyjorden Apartment
Bohemian
"Nice and comfortable stay."
Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz Bergen
"Amazing location & amenities, breakfast was excellent highly recommended"
New July 2026! Breeze Bergen City - Self Service
"The building was under construction, building materials was everywhere."
Zander K Hotel
"The hotel has an excellent location, right next to the train station and very close to the harbor. It’s also very convenient for getting to the airport. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the restaurant on the ground floor is also very tasty."
