"We spent a pleasant weekend pampered right from the moment we arrived in our room where we found an unexpected gift, a bottle of wine that we could taste while admiring the beautiful view we could see from our room. We then went to the SPA, very beautiful, divided into three floors, the girl who explained the route to us was very professional, kind and nice. At 5.30pm we took a tour of the cellar accompanied by Matteo Ascheri, who was very good, very knowledgeable and very nice, even if his mother Cristina still gives him a hard time ;-) and finally in the evening we had dinner in their restaurant, which was very nice and familiar. What can I say? I highly recommend a weekend in this facility to everyone. We took the package including accommodation-spa-dinner. The cellar is obviously separate but it is absolutely worth it. "Stayed at hotel on the occasion of a cycling event. That was not a good idea due to the very busy SP661 to get there. Certainly a good hotel for business men. However I was very happy with my room, breakfast buffet, huge parking place."

The extremely unfair and disappointing policy is the request for an extra €25 at check-in (and not specified during the booking process) for the second person's stay, even though I specifically booked (on ***********) a DOUBLE ROOM FOR TWO ADULTS!!!"

"We booked the most expensive suite, for two nights. The suite itself was large and very clean, however, the view is of a roof before you look beyond to see some beauty. The food for dinner was outstanding, as was our server! The problem, for us, was the service upon check-in. We had bags and our own car. There was no offer to help with bags, and no explanation about where to park. We were told we could pull the car up and THEN learned from another employee there was underground parking, which was great! Finally, two employees stepped up and brought a requested bottle of wine and were very kind. Soooooo, perhaps on any other day service may have been outstanding. We travel throughout Italy each year, by car, and this place was one of the worst experiences, for the cost."

"Barolo is one of the most beautiful wine regions in the World and the views from the Hotel Barolo are a great introduction to what the region has to offer. The Reception staff were most welcoming and although our room was in another section of the hotel it was easy to access. Our room was not large, but it had all the facilities, a nice large bed and a stand-up shower. It was very adequate. Importantly, the Hotel Barolo is ideally located if visiting the wineries in the region is your aim. The breakfast room offers good choices and the Brezza Restaurant in the Hotel is highly recommended."

"Wonderful hotel (or BnB?) in small buildings on large private acreage. Lovely decor, comfortable beds, clean, well-managed, delicious breakfast. The proprietor, Eliza, was so very kind to our family as we were traveling with our elderly father. She suggested restaurants, wine tastings and scenic drives that were all perfect. Looking firward to returning!"
