This hotel boasts a vast area, complete with two golf courses and stunning sea views. The staff are friendly and numerous. The laundry service offers excellent value for money; for just 3000 Mauritian Rupees, you get unlimited washes in one go, regardless of how many items you send – a very reasonable price for a five-star hotel. The buffet dinner is highly recommended, offering a wide variety of dishes. Food is categorized by region, with Indian, Italian, and Asian cuisines, among others. A notable feature is that cold items like salads, desserts, and cheeses are stored separately in a refrigerated room, ensuring their freshness. The Coco Banana Boost Mojito at the bar is definitely worth trying. The spa prices are also quite affordable; a 90-minute essential oil massage costs around 5000 Rupees, which is very good value for a hotel. After check-out, you can still relax in the hotel lounge, which provides complimentary water and biscuits, along with restrooms and showers, making the overall experience very comfortable. In summary, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Let's talk about it from a few conveniences
Facilities: three restaurants, two swimming pools, one of which is heated. The breakfast in the main restaurant is quite exquisite, and the food I ate for three days has not changed. The floating restaurant for dinner is very interesting and tastes good. It's just a little cold (it was winter when I went there). The spa is good and worth experiencing. I didn't try golf and shooting. It's a pity that there is no snorkeling activity.
Sanitation: Very good, your room can be cleaned twice a day, and you will be asked at 7 o'clock in the evening if you want to tidy up the room and send you more water. Very good.
Environment: This is too cozy to say.
Service: This is very good, much better than the five-star hotels in the island cities in China, probably because of the enthusiasm of Africans.
If you have to say the disadvantages, the hotel is very good, but it is a little old. The creaking sound of the floor in the room is very loud, and I am worried about waking up my companions when I get up at night.

Despite the very high price, Constance Ephelia, in many aspects, feels more like a 4-star resort than anything higher. The resort itself is beautiful, nestled within a true mangrove forest, surrounded by lush greenery, and boasting two lovely beaches (one of which, unfortunately, wasn't very usable during our stay due to strong currents). It's incredibly spread out, and there's a bus-cart system that's supposed to circulate continuously to get around. However, waits are often interminable, leading to long walks, often in the rain. Inside the resort, in addition to the buffet restaurant, there are three à la carte restaurants. You need to book these well in advance, or you risk not getting a table, which can be a bit stressful when you're on vacation. The restaurants are excellent but very expensive. Taking a taxi out of the resort is inconvenient; you have to cross mountains, and it takes at least 40 minutes to reach other locations.

The breakfast is abundant and varied, though disappointingly, there are no fresh fruit juices, only standard carton juices (like those you find in supermarkets). A special mention goes to the egg station.

The junior suites are surrounded by greenery but can be a bit dim. However, they are spacious and have a nice outdoor terrace. The bathroom amenities are inadequate for a resort of this standard: no conditioner is provided, only a useless 'conditioning shampoo' (?!), the body cream has an unbearable stale odor, and the lighting for makeup is insufficient.

Among the positives is the availability of on-resort excursions, which are included, with friendly and helpful guides (but these must be booked in advance and are not available on weekends). The same applies to yoga, tennis, and padel. Unfortunately, bike rentals are very expensive, as are treatments at the spa.

However, pedal boats, kayaks, and snorkeling equipment are available without prior booking (the reef is practically right by the shore, very accessible, and teeming with fish).

Disappointingly, despite being promised a resort tour upon our evening arrival, a rather unhelpful guest relations staff member didn't give us the tour the next morning and didn't explain the available options. As a result, we didn't take advantage of external excursions and only learned about some services through the resort app. She simply handed us a map and quickly dismissed us. Some staff members are incredibly helpful and friendly, while others, unfortunately, fall short.

There isn't much evening entertainment (thankfully, we brought a deck of cards).

Finally, an unpleasant incident: we were charged for mini-bar items in two different rooms that we never consumed. After complaining at check-out, these were deducted from the bill.

The airport transfer offered by the resort is at least double the price of taxis or other transport companies. In general, there doesn't seem to be the consistent, genuine attention to guests that we've experienced in other luxury resorts.

The rooms at Moofushi are not luxurious, but everything is very comfortable, the food is very good, the view, the water and the service are really good, it can be regarded as a hexagonal fighter, snorkeling is highly recommended, Alizee's dishes are great, the red and white wines provided by the all-inclusive package are very well selected 👍, a perfect holiday
