Service is exceptional: staff are warm, attentive, and thoughtful, offering helpful local tips and even complimentary Hanfu photo experiences. Breakfast is fresh and varied, with lovely garden views.

Because it’s located within the scenic zone, you may need to park outside and walk in—but once you arrive, it’s pure tranquility.

In short, Zhouzhuang Scholars Boutique Hotel is elegant, peaceful, and full of character. Ideal for couples, families, and anyone wanting to truly experience the beauty of Zhouzhuang. Highly recommended!

The winding path leads to a secluded place, which is a little hidden from the world.
[Service] The front desk staff is enthusiastic and always helps to solve problems with a smile. There are cars to pick us up when we arrive and leave the store, which is very convenient for us with a lot of bags.
[Room] The room can meet the needs of a large family, but the smart control switch in the room is a bit confusing and needs to be explored and adapted; the air conditioning in the room is powerful and the air conditioning is full, so be careful not to catch a cold; the hot spring is great for the whole family to take a bath and play in the water, and the children don’t want to come out to play.
[Three meals] The food is not bad. The 398 yuan set meal ordered for dinner has a few more dishes, and the family is a little full. There are activities on the lawn in the evening, and some barbecue is ordered. Breakfast this time is a buffet, and the variety basically meets the needs of the whole family.
[Play] The hotel has prepared a variety of DIY activities for children, such as making fans and dumplings; the hotel’s own playground allows children to play; the hotel’s path can directly reach the camp without tickets, and kayaking and archery are recommended; the hotel has a small book corner and borrowed a book to read.

I accidentally noticed this newly opened hotel, and took my family to vacation during the National Day holiday. This hotel is a privately owned state-owned enterprise operation model. Because of this background, the hotel is full of details in terms of facilities and services. 
On the first day of check-in, I booked the hotel's Green Field Restaurant for dinner. Although there are not many types of dishes, the taste is really good, and it has won unanimous praise from my family. The hotel breakfast is in the form of a set meal per person, a box of snacks, staple foods such as noodles and wontons, plus drinks and fruits for semi-self-service. There is also a good night dessert every night-homemade yogurt. The most thoughtful thing is that this is a pet-friendly hotel with a super high degree of friendliness. In addition to free cleaning fees, the hotel also prepared a large bag of pet supplies for the furry children, which raised the treatment by several levels at once~ Not only that, the furry children can accompany their owners to the restaurant, and the hotel also prepared lunch boxes for the furry children, boiled eggs, broccoli, carrots and chicken breasts, which made the furry children happy and the owners satisfied. 
The room is large, and there is enough space for four people to play cards. The facilities in the room are also remarkable, TOTO bathroom, Xiaomi TV, Dream hair dryer, L'Occitane toiletries. For mild mysophobic patients like me, the antibacterial hand sanitizer prepared in the room sink makes me feel at ease in terms of personal hygiene. You can also bask in the sun, drink tea and daydream in the outdoor courtyard, but because the distance between the buildings is small, if you relax in the courtyard, the privacy may be lacking. What also left a deep impression on me this time were their ”Three Musketeers”: Corgi Peanut, Teddy Zaizai and Border Oreo. They are like other people's puppies, and they are so smart and hospitable that I like them so much that I want to take them home. For these three, I will definitely come again next time!

I apologize that I can't give a full five-star rating after much deliberation. Let's start with the downsides: the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are quite dated, and the smart toilet didn't seem to work very well despite multiple attempts. Now for the environment: the hotel is integrated with Ban Yuan, and the Suzhou-style garden features are perfectly executed. The mynah birds in Ban Yuan are adorable, and the garden hotel itself is quite unique. As for the positives, the service is excellent. Check-in and check-out at the lobby were very smooth, and the staff's attitude was exceptionally good. The two porters were incredibly kind and thoughtful; they warned us about scams and even drove us to our night tour. We received complimentary fruit, along with a peeler. We were worried about long queues for breakfast as there was a conference happening during our stay, but the hotel arranged things very well by separating it into two restaurants. The Suzhou-style noodles, wontons, and toppings for breakfast were all delicious, and there was even douhua – we ate until we were stuffed! The service is absolutely spot-on and impeccable, and there's free parking. The body lotion is very good, and the scent is pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the Suzhou Museum, Lion Grove Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Pingjiang Road. We also received complimentary tickets to Ou Garden. The room was very warm in winter, which is great for the air conditioning to achieve such a temperature, though it was a bit noisy. The room I booked was probably in the lowest price category, so that's understandable. The value for money is still decent.

This was our family's first time visiting Suzhou, and everything we'd seen or heard before was from TV or books! We never imagined the beautiful scenery that greeted us would be so captivating. On our way to the hotel, guided by the staff, we passed by the bustling and famous Dusheng Bridge (Shantang Street), which was full of shops and an amazing array of delicious food. Upon entering the hotel lobby, we were absolutely stunned! In particular, 'Butler Xu's' thoughtful service made us feel right at home. The hotel breakfast also had everything you could wish for, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious! We're already thinking about planning our next trip and staying here again!

Xuntang Shuxiang Hotel has been excellent from the beginning. Soon after booking, the housekeeper will contact in advance to inform the specific location and arrival time. The hotel staff will wait at the entrance of the parking lot. Very considerate and convenient.
Check-in has always been carried by the hotel staff and sent to the room, which is effortless. The hotel is in the ancient town, and it is really comfortable to play in the ancient town if you don't want to move.
I especially thank the housekeeper Feng Yukai for responding to everything. It is a 24-hour service. Inquiries about dining and other issues are also answered in detail. Such service is really worth it and considerate.
The room facilities are very good. I like the toiletries very much. The intelligent facilities are really attractive.
When I come to Wuxi again, I will definitely come to Xuntang Shuxiang again. The delicate work attitude and warm service. Although the time together is limited, who can not love a place with warmth and history that cannot be copied.
