As a seasoned hotel enthusiast, I chose the HUALUXE Lujiazui for my weekend self-care retreat. This time, I specifically booked a river-view room. Imagine the incredible experience of lying in bed and gazing at the night-time river view after almost a month of non-stop work—it was truly soul-saving at that moment.

**Environment**: Let's start with the hotel environment. Before settling on this hotel, I did a lot of research because I've stayed at other high-end hotels before, and I realized I have very specific requirements for interior design (a bit quirky, I know 🤣). The room style is very minimalist, not old-fashioned, and the layout largely met my expectations. With the added bonus of the river view, I was very satisfied~

**Facilities**: My satisfaction in this area was also very high, with just one exception. Most hotels nowadays prefer using large bottles for hand soap, shampoo, etc. (possibly to reduce waste). However, from my experience staying at hotels, not all guests in high-end hotels have the same level of etiquette, so I'm a bit hesitant to use them. In this regard, I feel that the original travel-sized packaging was safer.

**Hygiene, Service**: I'll combine these two – both were very good. I just wish hotels would completely separate smoking and non-smoking rooms (including bedding) at some point. It's so tough for those sensitive to smoke 😭

**Breakfast**: I found the breakfast to be just mediocre. The dining environment was excellent, but the food didn't wow me. For a high-end hotel under HUAZHU, it felt only slightly better than a Ji Hotel. I believe there's room for improvement~

Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money and definitely recommended! 👍

I really liked it. The check-in/check-out times were flexibly accommodated to suit the customer's needs, depending on room availability. It really helped alleviate my fatigue. It was also great that food delivery came right to the door. The environment was clean, and the room layout was good and comfortable. The only minor inconvenience was that the pillow was a bit too high; I wonder if they would have provided a different one if I had asked a staff member. I was too tired this time, so I just slept with it as it was.

My trip to Shanghai led me to the Hixi Hotel Xujiahui, and my experience far exceeded expectations! As soon as I stepped in, I was captivated by the modern Chinese design. The lobby, filled with a subtle woody scent, seamlessly blends the Zen aesthetic of Suzhou gardens. The space, a collaboration between Zhu Zhou Design and 'Shang Xia', beautifully embodies the 'round sky, square earth' Eastern philosophy, instantly whisking me away from the city's hustle and bustle.

The room was spacious and spotless, with delightful surprises in every detail: a Dyson hairdryer, a Nespresso coffee machine exuding quality, and 'Shang Xia' toiletries with an elegant fragrance. The smart toilet and floor-to-ceiling windows added an extra touch of comfort. The housekeeping staff was incredibly meticulous; even the crevices on the desk were dust-free. The complimentary first-round MiniBar was a generous touch.

Service was impeccable. The front desk staff were efficient, patient, and thoughtful. The welcome tea upon check-in and the Dragon Pearl Pu-erh tea souvenir upon check-out made me feel truly cherished. The hotel's location is superb, right next to several metro lines, and within walking distance of Metro City and Grand Gateway Plaza, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with both Chinese pastries and Western dishes, all fresh and delicious.

I came to Jiading with my family to watch the F1 race on the weekend. Every time I go to Shanghai, I stay at Xiyue Hotel in Shanghai, so I chose it this time when I came to Jiading. Very, very satisfactory stay experience. The hotel combines the details of Chinese classical landscaping and the essence of minimalism to create a quiet and elegant space. If you are not in a hurry to go to the racetrack, you can really enjoy this leisurely time in the hotel! I would like to thank the handsome guy Xiao Shao at the front desk. His service is really great! Knowing that we are going to the stadium to watch the game, he took the initiative to help us check the route to the stadium and the approximate time required, taught us to use the membership to buy breakfast coupons, helped carry the luggage and sent us upstairs, and sent welcome fruits to let us feel the excellent service experience. I will continue to stay at Xiyue Hotel in Jiading in the future and look forward to meeting you next time.

My experience at Xiyue Hotel in Chengdu Taikoo Li was fantastic! The location is absolutely perfect, just a 3-minute walk to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, trendy activities, and snapping photos with the climbing panda. The hotel's quiet yet central location means you can immediately escape the hustle and bustle after a day of sightseeing. The biggest surprise was that all the room amenities are from Hermès' 'Shang Xia' brand. The tea sets and toiletries exude an Eastern aesthetic quality, with a collision of wood and stone textures and modern design, feeling delicate yet stylish. The new Chinese-style lobby is elegant and zen, and thoughtful features like smart toilets and Dyson hairdryers are provided. The Dan Dan noodles at breakfast were authentic and delicious, and the butler service was incredibly responsive. Staying here offers both the convenience of urban prosperity and the quality of high-end aesthetics. Highly recommend!

The hotel room is new, clean and have strong water shower pressure.  The lighting switch control system is a bit confusing.  The pillows are a bit soft for my liking.  The buffet breakfast spread is very good but with limited seats if too many guests.  The noodle station lady should improve on PR when speaking to guests.  The cheerful housekeeping staff did perform well in maintaining the room clean.  A good security control for entering the hotel room, guest can scan the room card and the specified floor number will be displayed.  The front desk staff is kind enough to give us gifts upon checking out.  The 3rd Tianfu Street Metro line 1 (Exit A) is about 5 minutes walk (370 meters) away from the hotel. There are some restaurants and two convenience store at the ground floor of the hotel building.  The hotel is located within working office blocks area and is quite far from city centre (Chunxi road).

The room is very big and clean! The location is also very good, with the subway right outside! Coco at the front desk provided very good service, very polite, and the sanitation was very clean! The main thing is that it is cost-effective, and the room is also very big! Very comfortable! It will not be a bad deal, it is worth recommending! I will continue to stay next time I come to Hangzhou!
