After a year, I'm back at the Nanyuan Hotel in Ningbo, and it's just as delightful as ever! Last year, I was won over by their thoughtful service and it stayed with me. This time, the stay was again perfect, so comfortable and reassuring. I was pleasantly surprised when they kindly upgraded my room for free during check-in! 👍

The hotel environment is elegant and clean, with a warm and comfortable ambiance. During my two-day stay, the service was thorough, detailed, gentle, and enthusiastic. All my requests were handled quickly and properly, showing their dedication and care. I truly felt a warm 'home away from home' experience.

This established hotel consistently delivers quality, with warm and attentive service. Its prime location is perfect for both leisure travelers and business stays. I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting Ningbo. Next time I'm in Ningbo, I'll definitely choose Nanyuan Hotel again!

Our entire stay truly reflected a five-star service standard. The front desk handled our check-in efficiently and professionally, proactively informing us about hotel facilities and local transportation options. Housekeeping meticulously tidied our room and restocked amenities at regular intervals, always with thoughtful attention to detail. Every staff member we encountered along the way greeted us with a genuine smile. Any requests were met with a prompt response, and their demeanor was consistently gentle and appropriate. They weren't overly enthusiastic in an artificial way; their sense of proportion was just right. Both the physical environment and the soft services were top-notch, making our stay comfortable and reassuring.

For us the place is great. Close to local food and coffee shops, has bathtube, large screen with movies. Price is quite affordable. Stayed there many times without problem. However this time we got a bed with very noisy springs and speed of TV connection was low so the video moved with delays.

The environment is quiet and peaceful, with lots of greenery around and no noise. The decor is simple and tasteful, without any cheap-looking ornaments. The room is spacious, the mattress is just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the pillows are soft. The bedding is skin-friendly and breathable. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, hot water is stable, and both lighting and ventilation are excellent. Everything is meticulously clean with no strange smells, and the soundproofing is also good, making for a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Front desk attendant Kitty provided very thoughtful and attentive service.

Here's a review of the hotel:

1.  The congee came without any side dishes, not even pickles.
2.  There was no menu at breakfast, making it impossible to distinguish between vinegar and soy sauce.
3.  The pan-fried dumplings were cold and unpleasant to eat.
4.  The fruit clearly looked like it had been cut the day before, as the surface was already dry.
5.  The cornstarch thickening in one dish was so excessive it looked like snot.
6.  Steamed items like corn and buns couldn't be self-served; you had to stretch your hand out with a plate to an attendant, who would then serve you. It felt like begging.
7.  The hotel seems to have sold many packages recently, attracting a lot of tourists. Breakfast was incredibly noisy, with many people making calls on speakerphone and loudly chatting with friends.
8.  The hotel itself is new, but the service is far from adequate. Staff seemed to be in a constant state of 'I'm new and don't know anything.'
9.  The ground floor pool is outsourced, and there were many people coming and going for swimming lessons. You could even smell hydrogen peroxide in the lobby.
10. There were only two bottles of mineral water in the room, which isn't enough for summer.
11. The gym had no towels or mineral water.
12. The lobby was filled with local residents seeking refuge from the heat.
13. Both the gym and the pool are outsourced, so the hotel has no control over their opening and closing times. Currently, they open at 8 AM, which is inconvenient for early risers. From another perspective, this means the hotel doesn't currently have an in-house gym.

Overall, the hardware, being newly renovated, would rate above 4 points. However, the software and service would be below 2 points. This might be due to it being a new hotel, with staff service still in a development phase.

. . . I talked to two different people on the phone and in person twice. I didn’t drink the paid tea. However, when I checked out, they chased me and charged me 😞. The concierge was useless. The man at the front desk who checked in on the first day was arrogant. The decoration style of the room is very shocking. It is glossy lacquered tiger-spot huanghuali wood-veneer style furniture, not matte. It is too rich and tasteless. The carpets and cabinets are old, and the coffee table and the end of the bed have sharp corners that can easily hurt people. The room is far from the elevator. At first, I asked that the swimming pool would be closed for two days. On the 15th, I asked and said that it opened yesterday. The management of the outsourced swimming pool was chaotic, their attitude was arrogant, and the environment was not good. There are many people in the swimming pool, it is small, noisy, old and dilapidated, the stones are cracked, and the experience is not good. I complained to Ctrip about the swimming pool and the environment, and wanted Ctrip to ask for two free breakfasts, but the hotel actually refused. I stayed there for four days and was so stingy.

But luckily I ordered it cheaply, you get what you pay for, cheap stuff doesn’t mean good stuff😄😃😂😁. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was very responsible. The furniture is not practical, the small coffee table is rickety, the TV is too old and there are not enough clothes racks. The operation of water discharging from the bathtub is inconvenient, and there is only one buckwheat pillow. . . Fortunately, the service was okay and the issue was resolved. Anyway, don’t expect too much. Not as good as the Intercontinental Hotel, unprofessional and gross.

No bedside stool! Their official pictures are painted with shocking varnish, and they use a wide-angle lens. The modern room is big, but it's not that big, and it doesn't have that effect.

The stay experience is very satisfactory. The hotel has a good location and convenient transportation. The rooms are spacious, clean and refreshing overall, the facilities are intact and practical, the sound insulation effect is excellent, and the rest is not disturbed. The staff is professional and polite, and the service is efficient and intimate. The breakfast is rich in variety and the taste is online. The overall management of the hotel is standardized, the sanitation is maintained very well, and the supporting facilities are perfect. Overall, the price is full, and the overall experience is full. It is a high-quality choice for travel and accommodation. It is worth recommending to all friends. The children's playground is also very large.

房間整體乾淨整潔，床品舒適，住得舒服且安靜。乾濕分離的衞浴設計和免費洗浴用品也獲得了不少好評。

還在早餐用餐就有服務員就問餐具是否可以可以收現象。

• 部分設施存在瑕疵
少數房間可能遇到電視較舊、水壓不穩定（尤其在用水高峯期）、淋浴房地面濕滑無防滑墊等問題，存在一定的安全隱患。

I stayed at the Nanyuan Zhaobaoshan Hotel for a business trip, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was meticulously clean, with no dust or odd smells in the corners. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The front desk and room service were prompt and the staff were gentle and polite. The in-room amenities were complete and worked well, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. It was perfect for resting up during a business trip, offering incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

The rooms are comfortable and the environment is excellent. The hotel staff are very welcoming and highly professional. This hotel is highly recommended for business trips.

Facilities: Since it's newly renovated, the facilities and equipment are quite advanced.

Environment: It's very close to the high-speed rail station, making travel incredibly convenient. The parking lot is huge, and charging for new energy vehicles is also very easy.

Nice lake view with skyline, clean rooms, shower and heating are all working well, good robot takeout delivery service, helpful receptionists, friendly staff overall. Would book again if I go to shaoxing.

Pros: The front desk staff was very welcoming. Seeing that we had a child with us, they even upgraded our room type. The room itself was very spacious and roomy.

Cons: The tap water had a musty smell, which is something I've never encountered in all the hotels I've stayed in. I reported it on the night of check-in and was told it would be reported to the duty manager who would come and deal with it, but then nothing happened. The next morning, I called the front desk to follow up and was told it would be escalated, and again, nothing happened.

Additionally, the restaurant didn't have spoons, which made it very inconvenient for our child to eat fried rice and wontons. I asked a server who said they had some by the chopsticks, but after searching, I couldn't find any. I asked another server who said they would bring some over, but again, nothing happened.

This lack of follow-up, feedback, and resolution in their service is truly frustrating.

The hotel is very new. Although the location is relatively remote, the environment is good and quiet. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The service staff are enthusiastic and considerate. When booking the room, I didn't find that breakfast is not included. The restaurant provides breakfast for a week. Although the breakfast is relatively simple, it is enough. Yes, fruit was given as a gift after check-out.
