Great
GGuest UserThe Mena House's views and location are truly unbeatable, one of a kind in the world. You can only fully experience the pyramids from sunrise, midday, to sunset by staying here. As night falls, without the pyramid lights, they appear exceptionally serene and mysterious, framed by the hotel's lights and palm trees. This is an experience that simply can't be replicated by just visiting for a quick photo. The hotel also carries immense historical significance. The Cairo Conference was signed here, and photos of the 'Big Three' from that era hang on the walls, full of historical resonance. For me, paying for this unique scenery and historical ambiance was absolutely worth it; I have no regrets. However, frankly speaking, the hotel's amenities, service, and attention to detail absolutely do not match its price (you're paying for the location, not the service). The hairdryer has weak power, leaving my hair dry and frizzy at the ends. The toiletries, especially the toothpaste, are of poor quality, like a product without any brand or quality assurance. There's only one type of pillow, and it's so soft it offers no support whatsoever. After one night, my neck was aching – not what you'd expect from a high-end hotel. The restaurant experience was also terrible: I ordered soup, and it was served without a spoon. I couldn't find one anywhere, and by the time the waiter brought one, the soup was completely cold. The restaurant staff would even specifically ask if everything was satisfactory, but by then, complaining felt pointless, so I could only say 'it's fine.' What was even more unsettling was the fake, superficial service. When I genuinely needed help or efficiency, no one was around. When checking out, my suitcase had spinner wheels and was very easy to push, but a staff member insisted on 'helping' with it, performing this kind of meaningless, superficial gesture. In summary: Staying here means paying for the pyramid views and the historical sentiment, not for comfort and service. Those who value scenery and historical significance might find it acceptable, but anyone seeking genuine service quality and a premium lodging experience will definitely be disappointed.

SSQLilyThe hygiene was excellent, and the room was very spacious and clean, meeting the usual Sheraton standards. The facilities were quite new, and there were several restaurants, though they closed relatively early in the evening. There was also a pool, gym, and conference center. The environment was impressive, with a large lobby connected to a cafe and restaurants. The hotel consists of two buildings, linked by a swimming pool on the second-floor skybridge. It’s a rather grand, traditional five-star hotel. The service, both in the restaurants and room service, was very good, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Even though it was busy, the staff were always smiling and welcoming. The breakfast restaurant has an excellent location, directly overlooking the most beautiful stretch of the Nile River. The breakfast spread was very generous, and all the juices were freshly squeezed.

GGuest UserThe house is absolutely recommendable. The Maria Pyramids House is excellently located right in front of the pyramids. The rooms are newly made and super. The rooms are very, very clean. I also liked the roof terrace with direct view to the pyramids. The hospitality and service of Osama and Ahmed were very, very good. The gentlemen always gave tips for the day design. The kitchen of Mrs Aeda was also great and breakfast on the roof terrace I enjoyed with view of the pyramids. I had 6 nights in the room and enjoyed every day. The House has exceeded my expectations.

FFarahMoWonderful service, new facility that's well designed with a villa vibe, friendly and welcoming staff. Beds are comfortable too. Downside: we were overcharged for evening tea and biscuits and the continental breakfast was not up to standard as no hot food was given. It consisted of a cup of tea, 1 croissant, a slice of ham, cheese and yoghurt. Forget about eggs, baked beans, sausage, fruit, etc. Note to management: it's not clear for new guests to locate the reception on the 3rd floor when they come in for the first time. Please put more signage. Otherwise, I would recommend it 👍🏽

VVignesh DurairajThe hotel is ducked in an alley but that's the only drawback if you want to mention any. All the other aspects of this hotel are fantastic. It's walkable from the nearest busy road where shops and restaurants are plenty. I felt the Egyptian vibe, the moment I entered the hotel reception where one can find the hospitable concierge service on the desk. The room is clean and well maintained. Talking about the restaurant which is located at one floor atop the hotel, it has got a very nice and magnificent view of the great pyramids of Giza. I was greeted with a welcome drink the day I checked-in and the next morning offered a fantastic breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Giza and worth every penny spent on this hotel

GGuest UserThis is the perfect place with the absolute best view of the pyramids. The room is small, but it has a large balcony with the best view in the world. The traditional breakfasts are plentiful and very delicious. The staff is extremely helpful. The owner came to each guest during breakfast and chatted with them. These guys provide top-notch service. Breakfasts are served on an amazing rooftop veranda with incredible music. We had tears in our eyes from the beauty and atmosphere. I 100% recommend it. There's a 24-hour front desk, hot water, AC for both cooling and heating, a kettle, fridge, hairdryer, and TV. It's quiet all around. The beds are comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm. Nearby, there's a shop with chips, water, and wine. It felt perfectly safe to walk there. The floor in the room was a bit dusty, but we wore slippers. This hotel is ideal for Giza. If I ever come back, it will definitely be here.

GGuest UserWe had a very good stay in the hotel, I would like to thanks Mohamed and Mustafa for their great service, they make us feel extremely comfortable, for every single thing we required they were always ready to help us, maybe something to improve is the internet connection but not big deal, for sure I would come back.

HHariExcellent location directly behind the pyramids (away from the pyramid entrance) where you can see two pyramids with a beautiful breakfast view. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. There is no privacy in the bathroom as it is made of glass and is not suitable for groups. It might be acceptable for a couple, but in our case, as we were three friends, there was no privacy, and we had to use the public restroom in reception because the bathroom in our room was not private.

CcontumacysgFacilities: Very old, far from 4-star standard. WiFi is incredibly slow, and my 4G/5G mobile data (from an Orange SIM card bought at Cairo Airport T1) was completely unusable once I entered the room. Cleanliness: The hotel is only 20 meters from the pyramid entrance. The downstairs area and the entire hotel lobby reeked of horse and camel manure! The room itself was slightly better. Ambiance: The rooftop dining area offers a nice view. Service: The owner and staff were quite friendly and helpful, which was probably the best aspect of this hotel.
