Hotels with Breakfast in Yeosu

The location is fairly close to the bus stop, and it's a quick bus ride to both the KTX station and the express bus terminal. The surrounding area is dark at night, and since it's in the countryside, there aren't many people around. I checked in a little late, so I went to a pub in the building across from the hotel. The owner was incredibly friendly and we had a great time chatting. The room is small, and since you're sharing it with other people, the lights are turned off around 11:00, so you have to be careful about noise and light. I don't think you can open a large suitcase. I think a backpack or a small suitcase would be best. The room seemed to be well-maintained, so I didn't have any issues with cleanliness. They provide all the shampoos, towels, and a hair dryer. There are outlets for each bed. Oh, and the cat at the front desk is super cute. He's super friendly, and I left feeling so relaxed.

The facilities were incredibly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The room was spotless, and the sauna was meticulously maintained by a staff member who constantly cleaned the fixtures. It’s the first time I've seen a sauna without a single hair! The cypress wood bath in the sauna smelled wonderful and was so refreshing. I used the sauna both on the evening of my arrival and the next morning – I wish there was a discount for repeat use! After the sauna, there are massage chairs on the same floor with an ocean view, and best of all, they're free! I lost count of how many times I used them. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. Some reviews mentioned a lack of variety, but I found it to be very substantial. They had Yeosu specialties like *gat-kimchi* and *gejang* (marinated crabs), along with other local dishes, and everything was delicious without being overly seasoned. It really made me feel like I was truly in Yeosu. Overall, the service was excellent. When I called the front desk about food waste from my late-night snack, they promptly came to collect it. And at checkout, I even received a cute cookie! Staying at Hidden Bay reminded me of some regional hotels in Japan. It truly feels like a hotel firmly rooted in local character. Thanks to this, I had a truly wonderful and relaxing time, and I'll definitely be back when I visit Yeosu again. (This is a genuine review from my own pocket!)

There are many restaurants and bars around the hotel, the staff is friendly, and the hotel facilities are good, so I had a comfortable stay. I would like to visit again later.

“Compact but enough”, which is what the hotel claims, I think it is true. The room is not spacious, but it is okay, clean, and equipped with most of the necessities. The location is a big highlight, as it is in the center and near many attractions. Another big highlight is the rooftop bar, which provides a clear view of the bay. This makes this hotel very attractive when considering a stay during a festival, as you may have a direct view of the fireworks in the bay.

The hotel room is big and spacious, with one queen and one single bed. The appliances in the room are very new. It’s very much like a studio apartment but not allowed to cook. The location is perfect, short walk within the marina area, 2km to Changdu island and convention hall. What I didn’t like was the lack of amenities. They only provide SMALL towels for guests but stating that it’s government regulations restricting on one time used items. It’s BS, if you can provide small towels, then you should provide big towels. They are not one time use items. They also don’t provide instant coffee nor tea. We have to get it at CU or GS25 ourselves.

I stayed at this 5-star hotel expecting a high standard of comfort and amenities, but there were some disappointing gaps. Basic items such as spoons, sugar for coffee/tea, and sanitary items were not provided in the room. These are small details, but they are essential and expected at this level of hotel. While the room itself was clean and the overall environment was nice, the lack of these basic amenities made the stay feel less convenient and below 5-star expectations. Also there wasn’t indoor pool 😔 I hope the hotel can improve by paying more attention to these details, as they make a big difference in guest experience.

I booked for 2 adults and 2 children through Trip.com, but there was no information given during check-in. We noticed we were short on bedding after contacting the front desk, using the pool, and having dinner, only to find there was bedding for just one person when we were about to sleep. I called the front desk at 10:30 PM to ask why there was only one set. The person didn't seem to understand, and after explaining the check-in situation and saying there was only one set, they suddenly transferred me to another staff member, which was a bit disconcerting. It was inconvenient to explain again, so I went to the front desk at 10:40 PM. They showed me the reservation status, which indicated 4 adults. It's ridiculous, though – if it's 4 adults in a queen-size room, shouldn't they confirm at check-in that two sets of bedding would be provided? And if the Trip.com reservation doesn't match the resort's reservation, shouldn't they clarify and provide the correct bedding? I returned to the front desk at 10:40 PM, paid for the extra bedding and additional person, and was told the bedding would be delivered. I waited for about 30 minutes, but it never came, so I called the front desk again. The staff member said the previous person had already left and that they were in charge of resort security (?), and provided the bedding 5 minutes later. It's not like I didn't pay for the bedding, and the staff member said they would provide it, so I waited for 30 minutes late at night with my children. When I asked, I was told they just went home. This trip was ruined by the resort's complacent response. The pillow among the belatedly provided bedding was so hard that my wife got a stiff neck and suffered the next day. It's truly bitter. This is the hotel where we stayed briefly for our son's military enlistment trip. It was clean, and the bedding was soft and cozy, which was great. We also took walks by the sea nearby, making it a fun family trip. My parents really loved the breakfast, saying it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The next day, there was a large grocery store nearby, so we did some shopping before heading to the forest recreation area, which made the experience even better. The staff were friendly, the location was quiet, and the room was spacious. Although I chose this room while sacrificing the view, I am 100% satisfied. Thank you.

The hotel location was very close to Yeosu Expo Station and not far from major travel destinations such as Odongdo Island, so it was very convenient. The hotel's Hanok style was enough to provide a unique experience, and the clear view of the sea was also very satisfactory. The interior of the room was not very nice and the breakfast was not special. The cleanliness of the rooms and other facilities was good, and the staff were friendly. I intend to visit again.

New, clean hotel. Room service at level. Silence throughout the hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant needs to be cooked by itself, which adds a home atmosphere. In general, we recommend for a quiet, solitary rest.
