"I struggled to rate my stay here, but the 4-star rating is based on paying a budget price and the expectations that would follow the price. Pros -- Convenient location to explore Kutna Hora. Friendly service at the hotel (though not so much the restaurant). Decent breakfast included in the room price. Steps from a truly authentic Thai massage (every bit as good as you'd find in Bangkok). Cons -- Room smelled of mildew (and I am quite allergic). Terrible dinner at restaurant. There was some construction going on in the area where I stayed, so the mildew smell might have been specific to my room. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable enough for the price. I would keep low expectations for the restaurant, though it was crowded when I was there (room at the bar only). I ordered the duck, and had to check a couple of times to confirm I was chewing on meat and not bone it was so dry."
