"It is a very beautiful hotel, and the front desk people were super nice. My room and the dining room were immaculate, and the food was delicious. There was a big selection for breakfast, and everyone was very polite, friendly, and helpful. Their pool wasn't open either, and I wish I had known that ahead of time. Even though it was 95 degrees, 90 degrees, or 20, 28, 29, or 33 degrees, it was still closed, most likely since it is only April. The only thing bad that would prevent me from returning to this hotel until it was fixed is the room carpeting. The carpet in the room was horribly dirty. (I wish they, or any other hotel, didn't have carpeting, and had solid flooring instead) Everything else about the room and the bed was comfortable. I wish they had real cotton linen, but it was clean, and the bathroom was super nice. I would come back again for sure, except for the carpeting."

"Very conveniently located. Right opposite a bus terminal. We boarded bus no. 18 from the Mei Zhou West station to this terminal. The hotel is right opposite the bus terminal. Across the street, you can also find a lot of shops. Just continue walking for about 10-15 minutes to reach the popular pedestrian street: JiaYing Old street. The nearest bus stand (not the bus terminal) which is less than five minutes walk diagonally opposite the hotel will allow you to catch the bus to the Hakka museum. It is worth going to the Hakka museum to have a in depth understanding about the Hakka clans in this part of the world. The other interesting place to visit is NanKou, Hakka villages where you can see Hakka Dragon houses or Wei Long Wu. Buses#9 and #24 travel to and fro Mei Jiang city and NanKou village. The hotel room is clean, sound-proof, spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff are generally helpful except one whom we met during the day shift. She seemed to be reluctant to help us when we asked about the local attractions. And unlike the other hotels that we have been staying in, we were told that we will be charged 3 yuan for one extra bottle of water. But later they still gave us two extra bottles without any charges. Thank you."

Hotel near Meizhou Wanda Plaza,Meizhou
"I chose the Hilton Garden Inn for my trip to Meizhou this time, and it exceeded my expectations. First, the location is very convenient; Wanda Plaza is right next door, and Ketianxia Scenic Area isn't far, so getting a taxi is easy. The room was more spacious than I imagined, with the typical fresh and minimalist Hampton style. The bedding was very comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. The most pleasant surprise was the cleanliness; as a clean freak, I was very satisfied – every corner was spotless. Breakfast deserves high praise! The freshly made pickled noodles and Sanjidicai soup were very authentic, and being able to enjoy Hakka specialties for breakfast made me feel so happy. There was also a good variety of hot dishes, bread, and coffee, and refills were prompt. The service was commendable: check-in at the front desk was quick, and they even proactively recommended some delicious local Hakka restaurants. There was welcome tea in the lobby, and when I left, they even gave me bottled water for the road – very thoughtful details."

"The hotel is conveniently located right next to Jiaying Ancient City. The room has a classic feel but is very spacious, and from the higher floors, the city and river views are lovely. The desk was also very practical for getting work done. Breakfast is served in the revolving restaurant on the top floor, offering great views of the Jiaying River. The food is freshly prepared, features local specialties, and is definitely up to big restaurant standards. There's plenty of parking, but the garage is a bit old, making the spaces narrow."

The service is attentive, though some facilities are a bit dated, which aligns with the style expected of an older five-star hotel. It was the perfect choice for our one-day trip to Meizhou."

"I brought my mom here based on a travel blogger's recommendation. The blogger mentioned that the front desk helped with luggage upon arrival, but we didn't receive that service. The location is excellent; it's lovely to stroll along the river after dinner, and it's very convenient to get to the old town. We were given complimentary fruit. The cleanliness was just so-so, and some areas felt a bit dated. My main complaint is that the floors are thin, and the soundproofing from upstairs is poor. We unfortunately had children staying above us who were running barefoot at 11:30 PM, during naptime, and again at 6 AM. I reported it to the front desk staff, hoping they could speak to them, but instead of potentially offending the guests, they offered to move us to another room. I declined because I didn't want the hassle of packing and moving all our luggage. Unfortunately, the noise continued on the second night. This was quite bothersome to me."

"The view outside the window was fantastic! Parking right in front of the hotel is limited, but there's a much larger parking lot behind it; the entrance is about 50 meters down, near the Post Office Kindergarten. The room itself was a bit small, and having a round table and chairs in the corner made it a bit awkward to move around. Other than that, everything was great. It's not far from Jiangbei Old Street, offering a quiet escape despite being close to the action. For breakfast, we got vouchers to a steamed bun shop next door. Each voucher was good for one main dish (noodles or steamed buns) plus soup (pork broth or Jidi soup). The steamed buns were delicious!"
