"I have to say, this really doesn't live up to the Sheraton brand. First, during the May Day holiday when there's a huge influx of people, there were only two staff members at the front desk checking people in. They only opened a third station after seeing a long queue forming. What's more, the front desk staff's efficiency and problem-solving skills were quite concerning. Here's why: When I booked the room in advance, I specifically requested a room on the same floor as my parents. Following the front desk's instructions, I cancelled my original standard twin room and rebooked an executive floor twin room. Executive floor rooms are more expensive than standard ones. At the time, over the phone, they confirmed there were rooms available on the same floor, and the front desk agent assured me they had noted my request to be on the same floor, and I just needed to remind the check-in staff. However, on the day of check-in, the front desk first told me there were no rooms on the same floor. Even though they saw the note, for some unknown reason, the room hadn't been reserved in advance. I was willing to compromise, understanding that it was a busy holiday. But then, the front desk told me they would have to downgrade my room, taking me off the executive floor. This is the first time I've ever heard of a hotel downgrading a customer's room when they haven't met the customer's initial request – especially since executive floor rooms are more expensive! This is completely out of line with the service standards expected of a star-rated hotel and made for a very poor experience. With Zibo becoming more popular, more and more customers are visiting. I hope the service standards can keep up with the demand."

"The front desk staff and housekeepers were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They patiently explained and recommended great local spots and travel tips. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety and delicious taste – highly recommended! My only minor complaint is that the elevator from the underground parking had a strong fishy smell (perhaps because it's near a wet market). It would be great if they could find a way to address that."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. In short: excellent value for money. **Hotel Environment:** Good. The hotel lobby has a 'Liaozhai' (Chinese classic tales) theme, and the rooms are well-equipped. **Hotel Service:** Excellent. The front desk staff paid warm attention to my needs, for example, making sure I wasn't next to the elevator. They even gave me a lottery ticket (too bad I didn't win!). My room came with four complimentary bottles of water. Check-out is officially at 2 PM, and I only woke up past noon, yet no one disturbed me [facepalm emoji]. I later found a note in the room saying you could order free wontons at night. All these little details really warmed my heart – truly deserving of my great Zibo! (See photos). **Location:** The most important thing is that the hotel is close to the train station, and the soundproofing is decent. It's about an 8-minute taxi ride from the train station, and despite being close, it's not noisy at all. I, for one, had a very peaceful night's sleep. Great value for money! I'm very satisfied! It'll be my top choice next time."

"I periodically visit Zibo, and for this trip, I once again stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I left a message on Ctrip requesting the same 15th-floor room as last time. The duty manager, Yu Qinran, was still responding to my request at 11:30 PM and confirmed she would specially reserve it for me. She also thoughtfully prepared the two buckwheat pillows I requested. Everything was well-organized, the price was reasonable, and the service was 100% on point. The breakfast staff was also great. As a vegetarian, the juicer on the 5th-floor restaurant was my main focus. The female staff member there helped me get carrots and cucumbers multiple times. She even used my cup to make an espresso and brought it to my table, which saved me a lot of time. This is practically my second home! I can't praise it enough; this is truly genuine feedback."

"We stayed at the Intercity Hotel for four nights during our trip to Zibo. It's well located near museums, parks and malls. There is a freeway nearby to other districts like Boshan. The room was comfortable, clean and even decorated by the hotel staff. The breakfast had a great selection, with just about everything you would expect - they had good options for toasts and coffee. Surprisingly, they have a complementary self-service laundry room that really made a big difference for me (I hate packing up dirty clothes). Overall, a friendly experience and good way to experience Zibo."

The hair dryer is very similar to Dyson. The wind is very strong. The toothpaste is also better than the previous one. The taste is fragrant and pleasant. The bedding is delicate and the pillow is also your own. The brand is more comfortable to sleep. The lounge on the first floor is very well designed. The tables and chairs are very high-end. The books are very rich. According to the unified color system, the details are full. The waiters are very enthusiastic. The first choice for business trips is the whole season. This is a very good hotel in the whole season."

"This is a great hotel, excellent value for money. Food deliveries are contactless, brought by a robot. The smart toilet seats are heated. There are even Zibo travel guides next to the elevator, which is a thoughtful touch. After a long day out, we called the front desk and asked for a foot bath to soak our feet. The bed was also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends."

"First stay, free room upgrade. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette with a microwave and coffee machine (microwave was great!). There was also a kitchenette in the lobby where you could make your own coffee. The receptionist, Xiaobai, was very helpful. The room was clean and attentive to detail. The bed was comfortable, the shower water temperature was just right, and the internet speed was fast. The workspace was convenient, with a desk lamp and a movable table."
