"I had a fantabulous stay at Ibis Hotel Sharq. The location was great and at the central of the city, close to transport links. The room was clean and well maintained. Housekeeping was fantastic too. On my first night, the food I ordered from the restaurant was overly salted and I complained. Come and see how all the staff were apologising and going above normal to ensure such never repeated itself. They made it up to me by offering me a free lunch later. Not only that, all the restaurant staff were so nice and polite, always welcoming me with smiles and asking what they could do to make my stay more enjoyable. Special thanks to these restaurant staff: Lawrence Hung Chef Ahmed Dinar Kamlesh Ibrahim It was a home away from home experience for me, courtesy of all the above staff. The food was delicious and I had a lot of Options to choose from. No boring moment at all. Kudos to the staff at the reception too. Definitely, I will be looking for Ibis hotels going forward."

"The room was spacious and good value for money in the center of Kuwait. 5 minute walk from malls and lots of cafes around. There was a stain on the rug which I feel could have been replaced but other than that I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was nice also."

"Very enjoyable stay at Ramada, my room and the shower room were nice and modern, bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety on offer plus a hot station for waffles, omelettes, and pancakes! Staff are just the best, super friendly and helpful! Was able to check in early, and am so thankful as I had a long flight in! I didn’t get their names but the Filipino woman at the front desk, and the staff in the breakfast room, plus the cleaning staff - all amazed me with their high level of professionalism and helpfulness! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when I visit! Thank you again!"

"I was escorted all the way from the arrival hall by Sunil, Who also chauffeured me in a brand new comfortable Tahoe. His driving was superb. At the hotel's reception was greeted by Dovi, who took care of my reservation and made sure everything is sorted. The room is clean & comfy. I loved the bedside full room controller device. I could turn on/off all lights individually or all at once, turn on/off both ”Do Not Disturb” & ”Clean Service”, control the AC, all while being lazy in bed. However, I really have an issue with the bathroom. Firstly, the listing says there's a bathtub. However , there wasn't one. It was a walk-in shower. Secondly, that shower had a really bad floor drain & slope. The water would run over the very shallow shower floor & lip/edge/step to the entire bathroom. My solution was to roll the foot towel & place it at that edge. The training room was excellent. The snacks were great. Saniya took care of us & made sure everything was comfortable for us. I am aware that it's not the hotel's issue, but they really could find proper energy backup solutions. That 2 hours government blackout/loud shedding is no joke. Lights, AC, everything goes off except the elevators & the water luckily. I was chauffeured by Shaikhe for my airport dropoff & it was as great of an experience as the airport pickup."

"Although the room was large, it felt like a freezer. On Trip, it said they would pick us up from the airport for free. I'm not sure if the problem was with Trip or the hotel, but after paying for a non-cancellable reservation, they charged us 30 euros for the transfer. We mentioned it to both of them, but neither Trip nor the hotel has corrected it."

"We enjoyed our quick check-in, excellent facilities, and the proximity to Alshaheed Park for a walk. Unfortunately, the booking does not include breakfast (it costs KD 15, almost $50 per person, so it is expensive). Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled promptly. The food was also a highlight. The buffet offered a good variety of local and international dishes, all well-prepared and flavorful. Breakfast was especially enjoyable with fresh selections and attentive staff. Overall, a comfortable and satisfying stay. Would definitely consider returning."
