"Booked a pool-access room this time. The hotel is right by the pier on Koh Lipe, so close to the sea that the tide comes right up to the restaurant entrance. The room itself is quite new, and you can step out directly into the connecting pool. Adding an extra bed for a child cost 307 RMB (sofa bed + buffet breakfast), which was decent service. Right outside, to the right, are the pier and Koh Lipe's main shopping street. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."

"Air-conditioned room with two single beds. The location is overall quite good 😊 (about a 3–5 minute walk from the Walking Street 7-Eleven, and around 7–10 minutes if using the back entrance of Walking Street 7-Eleven). For this price, Green Hotel is definitely worth it 🌼 We stayed for 3 nights and chose not to have daily cleaning, but they still kindly left fresh bottled water outside our room every day 🥰 which was a really thoughtful touch. The toilet water pressure was good, the air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the lady at the front desk was very friendly 🫶🏻"

"The unbeatable sea view, simply incredible! A 180-degree panoramic view, the most beautiful sea view on Koh Lipe. Perfect for watching the sunrise. The room is a small cabin built on a cliff, spacious enough for a family of three. Breakfast is ordered and delivered to the room, and it's plentiful. The staff are warm and always smiling. From a hotelier's perspective, I'd give their service 100 points – truly commendable and worth learning from! The only downside: when the sun is strong, the air conditioning struggles to cool the room down, even when turned up full blast."

"The hotel is super convenient, just a short walk left from the pier. There were even hotel staff at the pier to help with luggage and take it to reception for check-in – the service was really welcoming. The location is the best; it's very close to the walking street if you go via the beach, making everything easily accessible. The hotel also has a large pool, and the sea right outside is beautiful. It's excellent value for money."

"Absolutely brilliant. The staff were there to pick us up off the boat and take us straight to the hotel, really easy check in and the place was lovely. The Anda Lipe staff really made our stay. When asked if they could help out with decorating the room for my partners birthday, they went above and beyond and really made the day special and decorated the room lovely. The breakfast was great, lots of options. The free coffee all day is a really nice touch. The room was comfy, spacious and well equipped. Overall, the stay was amazing. Would really recommend to anyone coming to Koh Lipe."

"Sarisari Resort's charm lies in its great price, location, and service. In the morning, I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. There were even people walking from other areas just to watch the sunrise in front of Sarisari Resort. They offer free kayak rentals, and Koh Lipe is so much fun just for kayaking, so I highly recommend it. On the day of check-out, they offered to take me to my next hotel or the pier. I was also dropped off at a different hotel!"

"This bungalow-style resort by Sunset Beach is really lovely. The check-in deposit is just 100 THB. I really enjoyed the hotel's layout—it's only a five-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which is super handy. The hotel's beach area is pretty small and often has boats around, so if you'd like to go snorkeling, I'd suggest walking about 10 minutes to the east side of the beach. For calm, beautiful turquoise water, head to the north tip of the island—it's about 30 minutes from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort offers massage services, a diving club, and yoga classes. A quick note on the bungalow I stayed in: there was no hot water, quite a few mosquitoes, and the lighting was fairly dim since it's nestled among gardens and other houses. The hotel also follows an eco-friendly policy to save electricity."

"First off, the location is incredibly convenient, just a few steps from the pier. Right next door is the island's only walking street with all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment, giving it a prime spot. As for the service, it was good, with nothing really to fault. However, for the price, it would be perfect if they could improve the bedding. I slept on a creaky bed for two nights, and the sheets even had holes in them. Maybe it was because my room was by the pool and quite humid; none of my clothes, not even intimates, dried in two days, and they all smelled like salted fish! Just think of it as a convenient hotel. For the island, the value for money is pretty good at this price, but if this were in a city back home, there would be many more options..."

"We stayed 5 nights at Akira Lipe Resort and 3 nights at Mali Sunrise Beach Resort. Although Mali Resort was more expensive, overall Akira Resort was much better in almost every aspect. In terms of cleanliness, swimming pool condition, facilities, and staff friendliness, I honestly don’t understand why Mali charges a higher price. Sunrise Beach itself was beautiful, and we appreciated the complimentary kayak rental. Breakfast was also very good. However, there were some serious issues. The bedding was not properly maintained — while the outer cover looked clean, the inner duvet was yellowed and visibly stained underneath. Most concerning was the swimming pool. The pool water was visibly dirty even to the naked eye. After spending a long time swimming, both my husband and my child developed skin rashes and suffered from severe stomach problems. They had been swimming, diving, and accidentally swallowing some pool water. I did not swim at all, and I was completely fine, while both of them experienced the same symptoms. This strongly suggests that the pool hygiene needs urgent improvement. I visited in early February during peak season. Pattaya Beach, where Akira Resort is located, was calm, wave-free, and much more enjoyable for swimming and relaxing. Sunrise Beach, although beautiful, had very strong waves, making it less suitable for playing in the water. That said, kayaking to the small island directly in front of the resort for snorkeling was an amazing experience. This is definitely one of Mali Resort’s biggest advantages. Some of the restaurant staff were warm and kind, but most of the staff, including those at reception, appeared tired and expressionless. Overall, I personally do not think this resort offers good value for the price and would not recommend it. For the same budget, I would strongly suggest staying at Akira instead."

"This is a very famous sunset hotel with beautiful sea views. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bathtub downstairs, which I didn't discover until the second day. Soaking in the tub while enjoying the sea view was absolutely delightful! The hotel's food is quite tasty, especially dinner, where you can also watch the sunset – it's stunning. The staff speak a little Chinese, are enthusiastic, and have a great attitude. The beach is private to the hotel; the sand is a bit coarse, but it doesn't detract from enjoying the sea views or kayaking. It was excellent, and I'll definitely come back again!"
