"We booked a roomeith a balcony and sea view. However, on arrival the hotel tried to extort an additional 30 euros a day for sea view and balcony. They tried to push us into a room up several staircases, with a very small window, no balcony and no sea view in the old part of the hotel or pay the extra. We refused and insisted we had, in writing via email, a sea view and balcony. Finally they agreed we could stay in the better room and we weren't charged. Room was great, view excellent with lift in new part of the hotel with lively sunbathing decks. Lunch was excellent. Cocktails were great and all included."

"When I first arrived, I was a bit hesitant about the location, thinking it might be a bit awkward, but after staying there, I realized it's actually quite a good spot. It's about a 30-minute walk to the city center, but you can catch a dolmuş (minibus) right outside Hotel Bora. As someone who loves walking, I just strolled around at my own pace, and it was great fun exploring every corner of Bodrum. The place is really clean, and most importantly, the staff here are incredibly friendly! I'd give them 1000 out of 1000 for their kindness!!! They even carried my heavy luggage all the way to my room, which was super convenient. The breakfast is simple but perfectly fine for a light meal. The owner, Mr. Haji, is truly... incredibly kind! He always does his best to answer any questions I have, and he even used a translator to communicate in Korean, which touched me deeply. Receiving such a warm welcome in a foreign place made me feel wonderful. There's also a supermarket and McDonald's nearby, which is handy. Maybe because I went during the off-season, there wasn't much to see in the main downtown area, and I couldn't go swimming, which was a bit of a shame... but overall, I slept well and had a pleasant stay here!"

"Fantastic staff. They are all very motivated doing their jobs apparently enjoying servicing customers. Special compliments to Deniz bey from the restaurant how he manages the team setting an example for his team. Needless to say special thanks to Azad Hanım and reception team who helped us to settle with a perfect check in as we arrived early. It is well worth the money we paid for. Thank you and hope to see you again soon."

"In general, I won't go again. Facilities: Here are some suggestions for the air conditioner in the room: You have to turn on the cold air conditioner to blow hot air. I was speechless. I asked the staff to see why it was not warm. He said that you have to turn on the cold air conditioner to blow hot air. I hope to give some suggestions to those who stay later. Hygiene: The breakfast is terrible and there are few choices. I don't know if there are few guests. Many heating tops are empty. It does not meet the hotel's positioning. It is not as good as a homestay. There are flies. Environment: The room is not big. I arrived at night and could not see the sea. It is halfway up the mountain. The price-performance ratio is not high. I think it is a bit worse than I expected. Service: No one helped with the luggage, and the front desk did not speak good English."

"The hotel location is excellent. Literally a minute and you are on the beach. The hotel itself is very cozy, clean. It was quiet at night. The mattress is hard, but for me this is what you need. If you choose for the future, then this is definitely the ideal option. The only thing is that the water in the shower was a bit cold for me. Great hotel, great staff, great experience! The beach is close (1 min😀). The breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view!"

"1. The location is interesting, not far from the Myndos Gate, but quite far from the coast and the main tourist trails.                 2. The rooms: very dark, no overhead light at all, only dim lighting on the walls. The wallpaper is already peeling off in some places. The bathroom is very small, the cabin is simple, the heated towel rail is icy, the floor is self-leveling - not tiles. There is no closet, there is a niche in the hallway with hangers. The bed is normal. Small balcony. They clean well and change towels and bed linen every day.                                                     3. Breakfasts. Overall not bad, but disgusting coffee. The same set of dishes on the buffet every day. Very poor selection of cold meats, no fish at all.                             4. SPA: not bad hamam. The sauna is very dark. The gym is very small and cramped."

"Loved the hotel, modern, clean, friendly staff, speak good English and nice selection of food. Great drink options by the beach and free ice lolly’s all day! Love the extra of bringing a lunch option down to the beach to save going to the restaurant. They messed up our room booking on our check in night. Saying they have upgraded us to a family room which is pointless for a couple. We lost the sea view & lounge access that night. Next night we got our room back. Please don’t upgrade your guests unless you can offer them their original booked room still. This wasted time for us. The valet also reversed our hire car into the wall with damage. They didn’t notify or tell us. It was only pure luck that we noticed it and they took full responsibility. Overall this wasted another evening of sorting this out and saw it to our shock going out for dinner. Very dishonest from the hotel to not notify your guests! Management managed this issue well. However food and drinks service could be quicker, my expectations from a 5* hotel is higher and unfortunately this isn’t a 5* hotel but great stay for 6nights….minus the issues!"

"The hotel is a bit tired. We stayed in an apartment, which was quite large and had everything we needed. We could request dishwasher and washing machine supplies at reception, where the lady working there was very nice—a special thank you! But the furniture, plumbing, and spa area are in serious need of renovation. The breakfasts were okay, but nothing special. The location was important to us; there's probably no better hotel nearby. The spa area has a warm pool, which is nice in November because all the other open ones are either very cold or closed. We drove, and there's underground parking. The hotel is okay, but for the money, we've had better in Turkey. Perhaps after the renovations, it will be better, but we're unlikely to return if we ever return to Bodrum."
