"Overall, our stay at Madison Apartments was pleasant once we finally got into the room. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed — from toiletries to kitchen essentials. The A/C wasn’t working properly at the time, but it wasn’t a big issue since the weather was cool. However, the check-in process was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had called ahead to ask if we could check in just 30 minutes early as I wasn’t feeling well and needed to rest. Upon arriving around 1:35 pm, we were told the room wasn’t ready, which I completely understood since the official check-in time was 2 pm. But when we came back at 2:40 pm, the room was ”still not ready”. The receptionist asked us to wait another 30 minutes to an hour — we ended up waiting until almost 3:30 pm, and it was still not prepared. It was honestly a terrible start to our stay — being sick, exhausted, and having nowhere to rest while continuously being told “just a little longer.” The receptionist was kind and apologetic, but it was clear she wasn’t getting any real updates from housekeeping. It felt disorganised and unprofessional for an apartment of this standard. Breakfast was another letdown for $25 per person — very basic, with no hot food. Just bread, cereal, fruit in syrup, and some bakery items. The pancakes were the only saving grace. Coffee mix wasn’t good either. Once inside, though, the apartment itself made up for it — spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need. It’s a nice place overall, but the check-in process seriously needs improvement."

"Sadly, got a room in the middle of the building with absolutely no view whatsoever, but the apartment was nice and clean and it had everything that you need! The water pressure was good too, which is a plus, and the receptionists were really friendly!"

"Great stay overall! The hotel is strategically located just a short walk from the tram station, which made getting around super convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with good facilities. Breakfast was also a highlight, plenty of options and really enjoyable. A nice touch was that I was even able to borrow a microwave for my room, which was surprisingly convenient. The only small downside is that there’s no free on-site parking. However, they do offer overnight parking for $15, which is quite reasonable. Alternatively, there are free or affordable street parking options nearby. Would definitely stay again!"

"Good hotel with decent amenities and an excellent location, but the staff experience was extremely disappointing. We were travelling with a young child and requested a late checkout. They informed us it would be $30 to extend beyond 10 AM, so we agreed. We checked out at 11:45 AM, only to find they had charged $60, which felt unreasonable and misleading. On top of that, housekeeping knocked 3-4 times, and their behaviour was shockingly rude. One staff member even said, “You have 2 minutes, just get out in 2 minutes,” which was completely unprofessional. I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never encountered staff speaking or behaving like this. 0/5 for staff behaviour. If you care about service, I strongly recommend choosing a more reputable hotel. If you’re on a tight budget and only want to stay near Parliament and don’t mind compromising on service, then this place might work - but be prepared for poor staff interactions."

"The location is very good. It is very convenient for traveling in the Gangahlin area. All supermarkets and fast food restaurants are nearby. The facilities are very new and the rooms are not big but have everything you need. Hygiene is not bad. Basically, the accommodation is self-service, which I personally like very much."

"The hotel and everything was good but the room service was not included. It was not clarified during the booking. So the room cleaning etc. wasn't offered and had to get change of towels from reception. Also, the balcony was useless as it was blocked by a taller building in front. Only good thing was the location and size of the apartment."

"Hands down the best location to stay! Right in the heart of the city allowing you to walk to main attractions and easily catch public transport to the major galleries and museums. The studio room was fantastic with excellent amenities and the staff were lovely, I will definitely stay here again the future!"

"The overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible."
