"The hotel is very beautiful and very integrated with nature. It is very close to Dambulla. The Jetwing Group is all plastic-free and has a strong environmental awareness. I like it very much. The check-in speed was a bit slow, but welcome drinks and snacks were provided during the check-in. The room is very large and an extra bed was given. It was very comfortable to stay with 3 adults and 1 child. The dinner buffet was booked starting at 7 o'clock. There were quite a lot of choices and the price was reasonable. The only thing I was not satisfied with was that we were in rooms 220 and 221, which were right above the restaurant, and right above the scrambled eggs + barbecue. The cooking smell was very strong after the restaurant opened, and the buffet was very noisy at night. The noise was not over until the restaurant was cleaned up in the middle of the night, which was not friendly to young children. Families who sleep light must avoid the rooms above the restaurant when booking, especially 220/221"

It’s everything we hoped for in Sigiriya: beautifully appointed comfortable wooden chalets set in a quiet jungle garden close to Lions Rock. The food was outstanding. We ate breakfast and dinner everyday for our 3-day stay. Dinesh’s mother cooked a superb selection of Sri Lankan dishes. We slept soundly in a fully air conditioned room with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Dinesh was always on hand to help us organise activities and transfers, including our trip to Lions Rock, a safari at the National Park, and our trip to the Dambulla Cave Temple. We loved every second and could not recommend The Otunna Guest House highly enough."

"If I'd looked at the map and gone, I'd have had a hard time finding it. Even if it's close, I think taking a tuk-tuk is a good option. For the Sigiriya sunrise, it's relatively close to the city center, but not too far away, so it's in a great location. Lucky at the reception is friendly, humorous, and helpful. However, the tuk-tuk driver who called me didn't speak any English, which was a bit surprising. The room was minimalistic, and the green balcony view was soothing. The air conditioning made it cold, so I asked for hot water, and they brought me a liter of it in a bottle. I made some barley tea and drank it, which helped me kick my cold."
