The boss is down-to-earth, the wife smiles every time she speaks, and the couple warmly welcomes her. Had dinner at the restaurant, it tasted good and the ingredients were fresh. The breakfast is even more sumptuous, and the butter tea is particularly delicious."

"We arrived late in the afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace looking out over the Zhonglu village and valley floor below. We were greeted by two golden labs that accompanied us as we strolled through the village experiencing the local culture and cuisine. Dinner was excellent, with a hot pot chicken soup with fresh vegetables as well as a delicious egg dish cook cooked in a rich, savory tomato sauce. In the morning, we enjoyed exploring the village and chatting with the locals as well as watching a local fellow building a new house. It was interesting to watch him work, carving the wood into ceiling panels that he hung without any nails or glue. We were also invited to pick as many plums as we could eat from a tree that was simply exploding with ripe juicy plums!"

"This stay was wonderful. Sadly we arrived late and couldn’t make the most of the rooms and surroundings, but the morning was beautiful. The people were kind and helpful, and some have a sense of humour. Very clean rooms. Great view. Good tea set which was gratefully used for a peaceful moment with the view when I had to recharge. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was really tasty—and vegetarian. Good local tea on offer! The rooms on the ground floor are clearly non-smoking and don’t have a whiff of cigarette about them (thankful lungs, eyes and skin). All rooms we saw were beautiful and clean. Shower was hot and good pressure. Coming in late was not an issue. Thank you so much for the care and kindness!"

"It was a pleasant surprise to stay in this hotel. After navigating to it, we just kept going forward and followed the signs. The hotel is in a very good location with a large terrace. You can see the watchtowers in the distance. The whole Zhonglu ******* village is clean and fresh. The proprietress upgraded our room and we were very impressed. We will stay here again in autumn!"

Everywhere is filled with the wisdom of artistic creation, stories, and warmth! I was deeply moved by the love at first sight between Cao Yong and Lamu! I was awestruck by the art gallery that Lamu created herself! Cao Yong's artistic universe is like an overpass, connecting tradition and modernity, East and West, the individual and the universe. Beyond visual enjoyment, his works guide viewers to contemplate the essence of life, while collecting and practicing further expands the boundaries of art. In the contemporary art scene, he is undoubtedly a model of craftsmanship, humanistic warmth, and a global perspective."

"24-hour oxygen supply and humidifiers are a lifesaver, keeping altitude sickness and the dry, cold air at bay. The hygiene is pretty good, and the room even comes with a small clothes dryer, which is a nice touch. I initially thought it was a hotel in a town, but it turns out to be nestled halfway up a mountain, which was a bit of a letdown since you need to buy a ticket to enter the village. The hotel staff are excellent and very attentive. However, for a hotel costing over 800, the breakfast was surprisingly simple."

The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, letting me sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. The breakfast had a rich variety, and the freshly prepared Eggs Benedict really hit the spot! At check-out, they even gave me custom tea bags as a souvenir. From the welcome tea upon arrival to the waving goodbye when I left, every single detail showed how thoughtful they were. I've already recommended it to my best friend, and I'll definitely be back for my next trip! 🏨💕"

"The overall is a very healing mountain succulent homestay, full of atmosphere, people who really like to grow flowers and like the mountain scenery will love this place. Once you enter the bed and breakfast, the courtyard is filled with all kinds of succulents inside and outside. The windowsill, courtyard and terrace are full of green plants, which gives you a sense of idyllic atmosphere when taking photos. There is also an open rooftop on the third floor with a beautiful view. It's very comfortable to go up and relax. On winter days when the weather is clear, you will also have the opportunity to see the golden mountain of sunshine on the rooftop. The scenery is unique, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner is warm and easy-going, patiently responds to needs, and the basic services for daily stay are done in place. Objectively speaking, the flaws in the ointment are deducted half points: the house decoration and facilities are a bit old, the overall is older, the details are not as sophisticated as the new B&B. The bed and breakfast is located in a mountainous area. The voltage is unstable when walking thunder and lightning at night during the rainy season. There were a couple of power outages around the night of my stay. Sudden no power at night will be a little inconvenient. Mobile phone charging and lights will be affected. Summary suggestions: It is suitable for friends who like mountains and green plants, Buddhist slow tours, and want to see the scenery on the rooftop; if you are afraid of power outages, pursue innovative facilities and stable electricity use, and mind sudden power outages at night, it is recommended to choose a B&B in the city will be much safer. The overall flaws are not concealed, but the natural atmosphere is unique. You can try it on leisure vacation."

"This is my favorite guesthouse I've stayed at this year. It seems to be a converted family home, very charming with its ethnic style. The staff was incredibly welcoming; I arrived close to 1 a.m. and they waited for me in the parking lot and helped me with my luggage! I was so grateful. The location was also easy to find! The room was fully equipped. Great value for money!"

The location of the homestay is close to the fourth observation deck, and the room is newly renovated, which is exactly in line with the online page. Contact the boss in advance for dinner and prepare a delicious local stove chicken soup. The boss is warm and hospitable, enthusiastic about providing road conditions, and also sent breakfast. The bathroom has heating equipment, and also thoughtfully prepared electric blankets. It is a very good living experience."

"Two years ago, I passed by Jiaju ******* Village and regretted not staying overnight. 🤭 This time, my trip to Western Sichuan led me to choose the Light and Forest Cliff Hotel, and it was absolutely rewarding! A special thanks to the lovely ladies at the front desk for their thoughtful service. The room was clean and bright. Since we arrived a bit late that day, the front desk had already turned on the air conditioning for us, which was such a warm gesture for our tired group after a long journey. 👍 The hotel is perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the great environment; the pictures speak for themselves! Early in the morning, the misty clouds make for fantastic photo opportunities. The restaurant's dishes were also quite good. I rarely write reviews, but I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers."

"This was the first time I'd had food that suited my taste in Tibet. I always lose several pounds when traveling to Tibet before, but this time I think I've gained some! The landlady is beautiful, capable, and virtuous. I hope I can find a wife like her someday. Her brother is also a great cook. Although it rained the whole time I stayed, and I didn't get to go to Dangling, I witnessed a ******* wedding in the village. The mornings were filled with mist, which was a wonderful experience. I definitely want to go again next time."

"We had an amazing time staying at this homestay. The wife and husband who run it are so pure and lovely, we had such a laugh with them while trying to communicate in different languages, they are full of joy! The hotel itself is really lovely, very traditional design of the area and with fantastic views from the 3 terraces! The food was unbelievable, all grown by the family, pesticide free, and cooked freshly to perfection. Dinner was very well priced as well and super handy as we didn’t have a car. The lovely hostess even made us a packed lunch when we said we were going on a hike, and accommodated us with a very early breakfast when we had an early morning bus to catch. They also booked us a taxi which was super helpful. We loved staying here, it had a very homely vibe, would 100% recommend."
