I booked this hotel on a whim for a business trip to Datong, mainly because it was only a 10-minute walk from my client's office. I had no particular expectations, but after staying there, it immediately became my go-to choice for future business trips. The location is excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby. In the evenings, there are also quite a few cozy bars, perfect for young people to unwind on weekends. The front desk staff, especially one of the gentlemen, was very polite and helpful. When housekeeping cleaned, they would only neatly straighten the corners of my contracts on the desk and never touched my work notebook, which was full of sticky notes. Even when I worked until 1 AM, the hallway remained completely quiet, without a trace of noise. Highly recommended, and I've already recommended it to colleagues in my department who frequently work on projects here.

The flower deer is really amazing, and it creates a courtyard in the building. Small courtyards of different styles, private spaces, large and comfortable spaces. Neither child wanted to leave. The facilities are complete and advanced, and the butler Xiao Hao treats us like a family member. The housekeeper on duty every day is also very considerate. I’m sorry that I didn’t remember her name😅 I would like to make a suggestion. The only drawback is the breakfast, which is not worthy of such a good hotel. The restaurant is small and not ready to accommodate so many guests. There are few varieties and the taste is average. If the breakfast could be improved, this hotel would be absolutely perfect but overpriced. I will choose this place again next time I have the opportunity to come to Datong. I hope that the breakfast will be available at that time.

The front desk staff were very helpful and tried their best to accommodate all our requests; they were very enthusiastic. The housekeeping staff were also exceptionally warm and friendly. Facilities: The rooms are fully automated and offer excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for your travels.

Choosing the Intercity Hotel in Datong was definitely a comfortable experience. This is a German-style hotel with a convenient location, not far from the ancient city. I'm quite sensitive to hygiene and noise, and this hotel's room was clean and tidy, and it was very quiet for resting at night. What's most commendable is the hotel's service, especially the front desk staff. They were incredibly thoughtful, quickly handled the check-in process, and enthusiastically recommended local specialty restaurants. When Datong experienced a sudden drop in temperature, they immediately offered a warm cup of water upon entry, which was particularly heartwarming. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast was very extensive. It's an exceptionally good hotel, highly recommended.

The room was well-appointed with large windows, offering great ventilation and cleanliness. The breakfast was high-quality with a wide variety of options that would satisfy guests from all over. The herbal teas were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The service was excellent and very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near a residential area with many dining options downstairs. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, and getting to Datong South Station and the ancient city walls is very easy. I would definitely come back again!

Great soundproofing and spacious rooms. The toilet and shower are completely separate, which is a nice touch. The service is excellent and very welcoming. The air conditioning is powerful yet quiet. I'll definitely book this Atour hotel again next time I'm in Datong.

The hotel facilities are complete, the hygiene is clean, the space is just right, and the lighting is good. I chose this hotel again for my trip to Datong with friends! My previous solo stay here was such a great experience! The hotel rooms have a simple, Zen-inspired design, and they're clean, tidy, and practical. The service is warm and attentive! Given the current dry weather, the hotel staff even prepared chrysanthemum tea for sore throats, which was incredibly thoughtful! The breakfast is still as abundant and delicious as before! The large meatballs at breakfast are just amazing! The meat is fresh and savory, with a soft, tender texture! The hotel's own restaurant also serves very tasty lunch dishes! The 'guo you rou' (fried pork with vegetables) and stir-fried eggplant were very fresh, and we devoured everything! I also really like the hotel's location, which is surrounded by many old-brand restaurants, as well as markets and shopping malls frequently visited by local residents. There's also a direct bus to the ancient city area, which is very convenient! It's a comfortable distance, making for a relaxing travel experience where you can slowly explore and enjoy good food without getting tired! My friends traveling with me are already impressed and want to stay here next time!

What really stood out was the thoughtful service; the front desk staff and the driver who took us to the station were both very enthusiastic, making us feel truly at ease with Jianguo Feiman Hotel's excellent service. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are spacious and not cramped. The shower water pressure is strong and comfortable. The staff are also very polite and courteous. There's no need to worry about food; there are various restaurants downstairs. During my stay, I encountered the following issues: 1. Due to the off-season, some floors were closed, making upgrades impossible. This wasn't shown on the booking page or mentioned beforehand. 2. I booked a room with breakfast included, but again, due to the off-season, the hotel didn't offer a buffet breakfast; only bread and milk were delivered to the room. This was unacceptable. After complaining to Ctrip, they provided a solution. I understand that offering a buffet during the off-season would increase operating costs, but an à la carte system could be implemented. They could ask guests what they would like for breakfast upon check-in, such as noodles, milk, soy milk, steamed buns, porridge, etc., and prepare accordingly to avoid waste. 3. There was a slight odor in the room. I'm not sure if it's because it's newly opened, but it was barely acceptable. Those sensitive to smells might find it bothersome.
