This inn is situated on the east side of Huayan Temple Square, right next to Huayan Temple. It's also a short distance from other attractions like Chunyang Palace, the Drum Tower, and Daiwang Palace. With numerous eateries nearby, such as Longjuxiang Shaomai Restaurant, it's incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and enjoying local delicacies. The inn's interior boasts traditional-style decor, creating a tranquil and timeless ambiance that truly transports guests back in time. Each room is uniquely themed, and while some might be a bit compact, they are distinctively and tastefully furnished, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Furthermore, the rooms are immaculately clean.

Hygiene: Before coming, I checked several hotels and decided on this one. It seems like this hotel is newly opened, and new hotels are especially clean. Facilities: The facilities are very complete, with a gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also delicious. Service: The service is the best. They upgraded my room right after check-in and even gave me a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was really good, especially the knife-cut noodles!

This is a five-star hotel with a luxurious, old-school decor. The hotel service is absolutely impeccable; every single staff member was incredibly friendly and had an excellent attitude, making us feel right at home. We even happened to be staying during a political conference. The location is fantastic, very close to the high-speed train station and only about a kilometer from the ancient city. A special shout-out to the auntie at the fifth-floor spa; as a 'southern kid' experiencing a full body scrub for the first time, she was so gentle and kind throughout the entire process. Huge thanks to everyone at the hotel for giving us such a wonderfully pleasant experience! Wishing you all the very best!

If I were to rate the room alone, this guesthouse exceeded my expectations. Even though I booked a special offer room in the basement, there were absolutely no issues with ventilation or natural light. On the contrary, on a warm winter day, bathed in the soft glow of the lights, it felt like my own cozy little haven. If I visit again, I'd still choose this place. (The lady at the front desk was beautiful and kind-hearted, always willing to help and answered every question with a smile, which truly warmed my heart.) Now for the downsides: breakfast was served about a 10-minute walk from the guesthouse, which isn't a huge deal. However, the breakfast service was a world apart from the guesthouse's excellent service. The staff didn't even lift their heads when we entered or left, completely engrossed in their TV show. And they didn't provide Wi-Fi, which I consider a very basic service, right? Also, could you please avoid serving rotten fruit to guests? The breakfast quality was more about presentation than substance; it looked good for photos, but the taste left much to be desired.

The staff upgraded us to a suite room upon check-in. Also provided daily fruit platter and 梨汤. Supper of 刀削面，egg and warm milk was great! Special commendation to 郭六女 for good service. Parking convenient.

Traveling to Datong during the off-season was such a great idea! Can you believe I booked this room for just 98 yuan? This Yanda Hotel is incredibly good value for money. It's located near the ancient city, making it really convenient to get around. The front desk staff even gave us a free upgrade from our original family room. The mattress was so soft and comfortable, I slept wonderfully. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Datong.

Fantastic lodging. Best value I have had in dozens of stays. Clean, classy and large room with huge window to the main streets. Nice little hip cafe in the same hallway on the same floor. Nice bathroom, great bed. The location is also fine, even though it is a kilometer or so to the city walls. The naming Old town guesthouse isn’t much correct, but it doesn’t matter for the overall impression of this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located; you can easily find it by turning left into Fuyuan after entering through Yongtai East Gate. The rooms are equipped with smart amenities, though the absence of a magnifying makeup mirror was a minor inconvenience for someone with poor eyesight like myself. The hotel boasts modern decor, excellent hygiene, and convenient parking. We had to leave early for the Yungang Grottoes and unfortunately missed breakfast.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's also very close to Datong Ancient City and Huayan Temple, saving a lot of hassle for sightseeing. For those driving, there's free and ample parking. The facilities are brand new and smart. The rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering fantastic natural light. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. The service is warm and attentive. The front desk staff are efficient with check-ins, proactively recommending local attractions, and are quick to respond to any requests. They even offer free shuttle service to and from Datong South Station, showing great sincerity in their attention to detail. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with authentic freshly made刀削面 (daoxiaomian - knife-cut noodles) and羊杂粉 (yangzafen - lamb offal noodles), as well as a full selection of hot dishes, fruits, and desserts. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is excellent. Overall, the hotel offers incredible value for money, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Datong, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the city!

Service: The front desk area had an open layout, and the service staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall: We frequently choose Quanji Hotels for both leisure and business travel, and my wife commented that this is the best Quanji property she has ever stayed at.
