"My wife and I stayed here April 26-29. We are so glad we did. The view of the Dordogne valley from our large, comfortable room was breathtaking. On a whim we decided to try the 1/2 board for our 3 nights. It was an excellent decision! The food was superior to most of the restaurants we ate in France over a three week trip. The service was exceptional. What an experience eating Michelin quality food while overlooking the vast verdant Dordogne valley. I should also mention that hotel prices were a screaming bargain. This place is an absolute treasure and a one of a kind experience. I highly recommend it."

"We came to Chateau de Maraval to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday in July and had a wonderful stay. The staff were so attentive and kind and really couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel’s linen and bedding were really high quality, the room was beautiful and the grounds were immaculate. Although there is no dinner option, the staff made a good recommendation for dinner and the platters served would be more than sufficient after a full lunch out. Breakfast was also very nice - at full occupancy, they may need to put more out on the buffet, but we had the luxury of a host who really worked his socks off to get us anything we could have wanted from the kitchen. We will be back!"
