"On the way to the Castle of Carrouges, we stayed at the Lion of Gold restaurant in Ecouché-les-Vallées. Good pick: after a warm welcome, the housemaster guided us to a beautiful and comfortable room with a spacious sheep table. The unique formula of the midday offers a varied and appetiteful buffet followed by exquisite slices of a soft cow roast and sweet with its garment, served by the cook in person. The "home" desserts, certainly classic, were particularly delicious, all for a very reasonable price. Therefore, very favourable impression that contrasts with the latest review published by Trip Advisor under Mike Prior: " .... Something wrong with the hotel, but the male grossness, the presumed owner, was unprecedented. The spirit of time is the most hostile to the "male" (metoouesque androphobia?) especially if it is a good idea to be our owner?
