"We have been staying in this hotel during a circuit in Senegal. Claim to be a high-standard boutique hotel; however, facts are slightly different. Room prices are excessive for the quality offered (small chalets, dirty or worn-out equipment). Lunch and dinner are good but again excessive, a main course being offered at 20000 francs. Unfortunately, no other high-standard option is offered in the area, which might explain partly the discrepancy between price and quality."

"The boat ride is a unique experience. The staff are fantastic, friendly and efficient. Great place to stay and unwind. Rooms are brilliant. Clean and welcoming. Although I did not see any aircon so I dont know what it would be line heat of summer. Value- have already recommended it to people as a great experience. Food is excellent but you are beholden to them as there are no alternatives on the island. Disappointed they didn't do snacks as we arrived late for lunch but to early for dinner."

"The price-performance ratio is completely off. The welcome was unfriendly, as was the checkout at reception, even though the guest relations manager, Ami, tried to appear professional. The intern from Belgium was friendly and understanding. The Baobab Suite was lovely. The bathroom on the first floor hadn't been cleaned. The resort had relatively few guests (Ramadan), and the restaurant's offerings were unfortunately limited. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful."
