Hotels near West Lake Cruise in Hangzhou

Hotel located near to metro station. The nearest station is Ding’an station exit gate D. The metro is red color (Line 1) direct line connecting to Hanzgzhou airport. So if you coming from airport no need to the change line. Hotel itself located at city, morning time can walk to Hangzhou museum, along the way many shops around. Western shops eg: macdonald, costa coffee, starbuck. Alot cafe, tea, souvenir shops. Close also morning market called Damanong. Can have breakfast and see the morning market. Use the public bicycle to go there, just use alipay. Distance 1.2km. Near the morning market at the end there is God City Temple for you to visit, can see the whole Hangzhou city from top of the temple. The hotel is clean, have free washing machine and dryer machine. Detergent provided. At the same place there are 2 treadmills provided ( gym quality). Couch provided while you waiting for you laundry. There is also a steam iron provided. Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.

Good: Friendly staffs Easy access to all popular places to shops and eat. Take 15-20 mins walking distance to West Lake. Take less an a min walking distance for coffee, and breakfast next to hotel. Very close by subway, and buses. Hotel has free self washing and drying machines. Bad: If you are a clean freak, this hotel is not for you. I had a crab leg bone left in a toilet room after the room cleaning service is done ( sure, definitely not from me since I have not eaten any crab) Not price performed since the room was small with no review at all. I saw a flea in a sink, but didn’t take photos since no further expectation from cleanliness.

The hotel is very close to the subway station. The rooms are neat and clean. It's just that ”there is gold and jade on the outside, but ruins and lint on the inside.” The front desk knew that there was no air conditioning that night and did not tell me before I checked in. The room temperature was over 28 degrees all night, which made me unable to sleep all night. I argued with their front desk, and he said it was impossible to check out, and he only gave me a fan to solve the problem. The fan still cannot rotate. ”Let me call the sky not to respond and the earth not to hear it.” In the end, I had to endure it silently, which hurt my body and mind. What surprised me the most was that Trip.com was not notified that there was a problem with the hotel's air conditioning and was unable to convey it to me. It's really puzzling. 

My flight was early and wanted to early as possible as could be, thus I chose to sleep at the Hayatt Place Hotel in Hangzhou Airport. The service rendered from the door portal to the check in counter was superb! The door man was welcoming and assisted me with my luggage. The gentleman at the check in counter “Mr Lurk” was professional, spoke English and could get me through the process of checking in quite quickly. The cleanliness/tidiness and overall aesthetics was on point, classy, environment friendly and presented a relaxing ambiance! The entrance was inviting and assists was 100% full on. The room was heated immediately once I entered the room. The bedding was very clean and including the bathroom as well. There were no carpet stains nor clogged and chloride stains in the bathroom. It was top notch clean! Well done on it. The important amenities were in place and accessible. I am very impressed by the overall design and relaxing environment of the hotel in general. Thank you! At that time, I booked the homestay and I was fancy that his home was in the scenic area. Next to Yuan Temple, plus the room terrace facing the fir forest is very beautiful (When I found out, I didn't cheat) 1⃣️ Environment: Very clean and comfortable, well-equipped, the bathroom also sent a disposable toilet cover very intimate. The overall building is blue tiles and white walls, with western wind railings, a bit of a Chinese and Western fusion style, and a small patio. My favorite is the door of the homestay. It feels like Miyazaki's movie Qianqian and Qianxunli. It is very good to take pictures. There is a bookshelf in the lobby, you can sit There is a green forest on the terrace to read, don't be too comfortable~ 2⃣️ Breakfast: A good lunch box contains mustard, boiled eggs, porridge, steamed pumpkin, sweet potatoes, buns, snacks, etc., as well as hot milk and Orange juice can be selected ～ but there is no coffee. Coffee should be bought separately~ 3⃣️ Afternoon tea: The package I booked includes afternoon tea. The housekeeper helped me prepare it. It said that it can be used before 5 pm. There is a pot of tea to make it yourself (black tea, green tea, Shengpu can choose), Sangongge dried fruit and snacks ～ are more abundant. The taste is also good 👍 It can be used in the lobby or delivered to the room, but there is no tea in the room~ There is refreshment~ You should use the tea teapot in the room to make it. 4⃣️ Service: Not bad and intimate, go out to eat at night, the front desk butler also gave a very bright flashlight. Because the surrounding area is relatively quiet, it is all woods. Although there are street lights on the road, there are still dark places, which is very practical. Check out and send a souvenir (a bag of sweet potatoes eleven packs of thousands; it is not special enough for me, but it is very practical 5⃣️ Disadvantages: The homestay does not have its own restaurant, you need to eat outside, a big tree restaurant (can't order after 5 pm) Meals,), an upper-cabin restaurant (opens from 5 to 7 p.m. Meal), the menus of both restaurants are relatively rich, but the taste is more general and the price is not too high. The location is very close, one in Zenyuan Temple The one on the left is on the right of the Zenyuan Temple.

The room was very spacious and the bed was very, very big. It was very comfortable to sleep in! There is heating and air conditioning in the house, and it is very warm in the house when it is freezing outside. There is a separate large window and desk, the lighting is very good, and the service attitude of the front desk staff is also very good

The metro is just opposite the hotel. The receptionist were excellent in helping us to get our supper as we arrived midnight and didnt have the local apps to ordering food. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Hangzhou Railway East Station and connected to multiple subway lines. There is also a 万象汇shopping mall nearby which has many popular restaurants in Hangzhou so you can enjoy local delicacies without travelling far. The hotel is also connected to another shopping where there are many local restaurants at affordable prices and there is Burger King and Starbucks too. The hotel staff at the conceirge and housekeeping ladies are courteous and friendly to render assistance when my room key has issue unlocking my room door. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast has quite a wide variety of western and chinese food, which is value for money. I like the noodle bar as the lady manning the station could customise my noodle as I could not consume beef. I will choose this hotel again when I visit Hangzhou for travel . 😊

The housekeeper Yi Ren Hong 尹仁红is very friendly and helpful. She is kind and caring as well as provide punctuality service to us when we requested the laundry to be sent to us as we said time. I'll give her 100% for her service and attitude. However, the services of front desk receptionist can be improved. They lack of smiling and friendly tone of voice. For the facilities of the hotel, this is good and surprised me as provided free laundry services as compared to other hotel mostly they didn't provide .

Excellent location along the west lake in HangZhou. The hotel owns a portion of the lake as well, which allows for scenic walks along the river and greens. Area inside the hotel is extremely quiet. Staff and service are excellent. Foreigners may have trouble with communication, as staff speaks Mandarin mostly. However that is expected, as the hotel is typically reserved for Chinese state officials.
