"Facilities: I stayed in the new building; the room was quite large, but there was no shower. Both the main building and the new building have onsen (hot springs); the seaside onsen is located in the main building. The food was acceptable, enough to fill you up, but not particularly delicious. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Ideal for watching the sunset from the hotel. Service: No reservation required; there is a free shuttle service on the Gono Line from Wepsa station at the corresponding times. The front desk has staff who speak Chinese and provide detailed explanations of important information. Excellent!"

"I've been staying here for ski trips at the end of the year for the past few years. The rooms and the smiles of the staff are lovely. I'm especially grateful for the attentive service given at meals. However, perhaps because the system at the front desk has changed, the explanation at check-in was hard to understand, and it took longer to check out. I was also surprised at the huge temperature difference between the Western-style bath and the Japanese-style bath. But I'd like to go back in the summer!"

"Dormy Inn chain hotels rarely disappoint me, and this still holds for Hirosaki one. It is close to Hirosaki Castle rather than Hirosaki Station, but the city has a circular bus that runs every 10 min., and the bus stop for the hotel is just across the road, so it’s not a problem for those who arrive by train. The room is moderate in size by Japan business hotel standard, but it has the added benefits of offering relaxation onsens. As usual, its onsens have both open and indoor pools. This hotel also has cold water pool and sauna. You get free Yakult in the morning, ice pops in the afternoon till late evening. I recommend."
