"(1) Service :- I have to ask for giving me towels and napkins always. When the housekeeping come they don’t knock the door and come directly always. (2) Reception :- They don’t changed my room even the AC ( air cooler ) was not working. (3) Check out :- They charged more 20 USD for staying till 1 pm. (4) Food :- They even don’t know food menu prices , always keep changing according to their wish. I will never suggest this hotel with no respect to guest."

"Stayed here for three peaceful nights from 15-18 February 2019 and enjoyed every minute there. The BnB is in a very quiet close in the leafy parts of Mt Pleasant where all you hear are birds twittering in the trees and nothing else. The internet is crazy fast and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was good and the garden is beautiful. The staff were always attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Harare and wants real value for money. Breakfast can have more variety though and the road leading into the close was very muddy and made the car dirty because its not tarred. Otherwise a great stay."

"Arnold and his team are simply extra ordinary. This guesthouse is a hidden gem that honestly speaking makes me look forward to all my trips to Zim. It has become a home away from home for me and even if the accommodation was way below par, which is certainly is not, I'd choose it because of their pork chops :-) All the staff here have become family. The beds are out of this world, pool area inviting and cleanliness top top notch. I would certainly classify myself as a fussy customer but my idiosyncrasies and lofty expectations are always met with the utmost humility and eager willingness to serve. Thank you to Hilltop, Arnold and the entire team. I've recommended Hilltop to over 30 friends and colleagues. None of whom have ever been disappointed."

Starting from the Spa with Melody and continuing with the personnel, friendly helpful and professional. Rooms are great especially “Zanzibar “ , details make the difference between lodges. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, close to many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they arranged a taxi for me to the airport. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a desk, a TV, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was also clean and well-equipped, with hot water and toiletries. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel also has a beautiful garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend Residence Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel in the heart of Harare"
