Japan is renowned worldwide for its tea ceremony (Chado) and flower arranging (Kado). The tea ceremony is a distinctive culinary art and a form of social etiquette for tea gatherings. It not only requires an elegant and natural environment but also dictates a precise set of procedures for boiling, brewing, and tasting tea. Great care is taken in selecting and appreciating tea utensils, arranging and decorating the tearoom's calligraphy and paintings, and even in the construction of the tearoom itself. The Japanese view the tea ceremony as a means of self-cultivation, enhancing cultural literacy, and socializing.

Shangri-La's hygiene and service are consistently reliable. This time, we (two adults and two children) booked a 4-night river-view suite for our vacation. The detail I was most concerned about was the noise from opening and closing the room door and bathroom door, as the kids sleep until 9 or 10 AM, while the adults are up and about in the living room by 6 or 7 AM. Shangri-La's doors are truly excellent, almost silent, allowing both kids to wake up naturally for all four mornings. Since we booked for two adults and two children, the hotel was very generous, providing an extra bed and breakfast for one 7-year-old child. The room even came with mouthwash. The two-sided river view was particularly beautiful. The kids loved the heated pool. The executive room included a simple dinner. The two restaurants offered both buffet and à la carte options, which were quite affordable. They had noodles, dumplings, rice, and stir-fries, and for around 100-200 per person, you could eat quite comfortably.

During my stay, I had some issues with my room at night, and I really appreciate the duty manager for promptly helping me arrange a room change. Their proactive problem-solving was very reassuring. Also, a big shoutout to the housekeeper, Wang Liqiu. She was incredibly attentive. She noticed I had placed my bath towel on the sofa while cleaning, and when I returned, she had neatly folded it for me. She also saw that I had moved the tissues from the vanity to the table, and she thoughtfully replenished them. She noticed many small habits of mine that I hadn't even mentioned. The dumplings at breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the shrimp dumplings and siu mai were very authentic. The pickled vegetables here, in my opinion, are even better than those at some external Northeastern restaurants; the sourness is just right, refreshing and not greasy. I also enjoyed the various tarts I tried at the lounge. The head chef was also super nice. I'd also like to extend my thanks to other staff members whose names I didn't catch!

The room was fantastic! We arrived super early, and the front desk guy, seeing there were no king rooms available, upgraded us to a family room. We were able to rest right away, which was really great! The room was spacious, clean, and even had a smart toilet. But the best part is definitely the location. The hotel is right outside Exit 2 of the metro, and buses like the 35 and 126 stop right in front, making it easy to get to all the attractions. Downstairs, there are breakfast spots, a small supermarket, and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, treating guests like family and greeting them politely. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, with a complimentary shuttle bus and a beautiful back garden. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and there's an amusement park nearby. The robot service is a nice touch, and the family rooms are very popular. It's truly a top choice for both business and leisure travelers!

The room was huge, we didn't even have enough time to enjoy it all in three days and two nights, haha! The hot springs were clean! The 'yin-yang' hot pot-style pool was hilarious! The outdoor swimming pool was also fantastic! The water was so clean, and there were interactive activities at 3 PM which were a lot of fun! The staff were also very enthusiastic ❤️

The Wanda Vista Hotel in Harbin is conveniently located in the heart of Songbei District. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay and would recommend it. Here are a few highlights: - The room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was excellent. - Great value for money, with amenities like free ground parking, charging stations, and a swimming pool. - Proactive and detailed service, with smooth and hassle-free processes at every step. - Excellent location, environment, and service. The room was clean and spacious, with excellent natural light and an amazing view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with stable hot water. Overall, the environment was warm and cozy, offering incredible value for money. My stay was perfect, and I highly recommend it!

Taking advantage of the tail end of summer vacation, my family and I took a trip to Harbin. Out of our four-day itinerary, staying at the Polar Bear Hotel was by far the most satisfying experience. Both the kids and the elders were incredibly happy, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations, prompting me to write a little essay to express my delight! The hotel is located within the Polar Park, allowing us to easily return to our room for a rest during our activities. Throughout the park, you can spot the adorable figures of 'Benben' the polar bear and 'Taotao' the penguin. Upon entering the hotel, the attention to detail was evident. The lobby offered refreshing iced juice for guests, and during check-in, they meticulously explained the daily parent-child activities and the schedule of performances within the venue. Our Polar Bear View Room was spacious and bright. Through the large viewing window, we could see the cute polar bears at any time. The room was meticulously cleaned and equipped with an air purifier, making the air very fresh. They thoughtfully prepared art supplies (drawing paper and pens) and storybooks for the children, along with a range of high-quality children's toiletries (the body wash and shampoo even had children's cosmetic labels, indicating very safe ingredients). Beyond enjoying the various attractions, the hotel also offered a wealth of parent-child activities, including DIY crafts, Polar Bear Class, and night-time polar exploration, providing many wonderful experiences for the little ones. On the day of our check-in, the hotel also provided 'Mr. Bear's Goodnight Porridge.' We initially thought it would just be a simple bowl of porridge, but to our surprise, there was not only vegetable porridge and seafood porridge, but also delicious Northeastern corn, salted duck eggs, various small pickles, and tasty pastries. The breakfast the next day was even more diverse, with every dish being incredibly delicious! Plus, we could enjoy our meal while watching the polar bears! All the staff within the scenic area were exceptionally kind, making us feel right at home. The dolphin show was also very unique; it wasn't just a simple animal performance but had a storyline, and all the actors were full of emotion. Our child loved the handsome 'Dolphin Prince' the most and wanted to watch it again, but unfortunately, it wasn't the Dolphin Prince's show the next day. Most commendable of all was the front desk lady – she was truly wonderful, beautiful and kind-hearted, and helped us resolve a problem we encountered. The tickets provided by the hotel during our summer stay had their validity extended for a quarter, so we definitely plan to come back and visit more often when we have time! This stay left us with unforgettable memories and we highly recommend it to all families with children; you certainly won't be disappointed if you choose this place.
