Hotels in Harbin Railway Station/Gogol Street/The first affiliated hospital of H, Harbin

I booked the basic room type through Ctrip for 90 yuan. The room was on the basement level, requiring a walk down stairs. The room was large and spacious, but it was surrounded by walls, had no windows, and no connection to the outside. Don't expect an upgrade to a room with a window or on an upper floor if you book the basic room type through Ctrip. My companion had a leg injury and was limping in and out, but still had to climb the stairs to the basement level. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with elderly people, sick individuals, or anyone with mobility issues. Late check-out isn't allowed; you must check out by 12 PM. Late check-out costs 35 yuan per hour, clearly priced. Ctrip also doesn't offer their own extended check-out until 2 PM. We stayed in room 9 on the basement level. The air conditioning wasn't working well; the buttons wouldn't activate it. The joint between the bathroom and the main room was damaged, and my companion slipped there after it got wet, though thankfully wasn't injured.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Every day when I went out, the cleaning staff made sure my room was sparkling clean and comfortable. The river-view room offered a spectacular vista of the Songhua River Bridge, and being right above the cable car's 'Castle on the River' made getting around incredibly convenient. The concierge who checked me in, and the staff who assisted me with a 'Princess, your carriage awaits!' level of service when I checked out, both provided such enthusiastic and thoughtful help, leaving me with wonderful memories of my trip to Harbin.

The hotel's location is pretty good, about a 15-minute walk from Central Street. The room was clean and quite spacious. The front desk staff were welcoming and provided attentive service. The lobby even offered complimentary iced hawthorn tea daily, which was a refreshing treat after a day of sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was also good, with a decent variety and tasty options. My only suggestion would be to offer one or two fresh fruits every day. We had breakfast twice; there was watermelon on the first day, but no fresh fruit on the second. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Harbin.

I don't know where all the bad reviews came from 😂 I was so hesitant after reading them, but after staying for three days, I think it's pretty good for getting around. It's quiet, and for this price range, it's totally acceptable. The front desk lady was very gentle, and you need a card to use the elevator. When traveling, you always bring disposable bed linen and toiletries anyway, so does anyone still care about hotel bed linen hygiene? Also, it's an old building, which is fine by me. (On the third day, a group of people checked into the room opposite, 😂 if you're going to talk loudly, please close your door and don't disturb others, okay?)

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Central Street and Hongzhuan Morning Market. We checked in late at night and stayed for two days, and had a wonderful time. The front desk staff (both the young man and young lady) and the cleaning auntie were all very friendly~

The New Paris Hotel has an excellent location; right outside, there's a subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The hotel service is great, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The amenities are very complete and well-maintained—the AC, TV, and high-speed WiFi all work perfectly, the shower pressure is stable, and they have everything from a parking lot to leisure areas. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, it meets all your needs. I'll definitely choose this place first for my next trip and sincerely recommend it to everyone!

I've stayed at quite a few Hampton Inns, and this one in Harbin was generally quite disappointing. Location: It's in a popular commercial area, right next to the Heilongjiang Museum. Building: Seems to be an older structure. Front Entrance: Narrow, making it difficult to get in and out of vehicles. Lobby: Decent, no major issues. Service: The front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming. I don't expect over-the-top enthusiasm, but a basic level of professionalism would be good. Room: The TV resolution was low, and the bed wobbled when I turned over; even stuffing towels under it the next day didn't help. The window was quite small and looked dirty. Bathroom: No smart toilet, and the showerhead was leaking.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for this trip! It's a newly opened establishment that used to be the Zhengming Hotel, and it truly feels upscale and grand. The clean, spacious areas and excellent ventilation immediately made a great impression. Check-in was smooth, the room was very roomy and spotless, the mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-designed. The hotel's location isn't far from the commercial street or the subway station. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, tasty options, making it great value for money. I had a very satisfying stay.

We chose a family room, and they provided three sets of toiletries, which was perfect for our two adults and two children. If we needed more, we could just call the front desk. The location is excellent, right in the city center. Harbin Station is within walking distance, or you can take the subway one stop, which is probably better. Just turn right out of the hotel and walk a few dozen meters to the Museum Station subway. One stop takes you directly to Harbin Station, and you don't even have to exit the subway to get to the train station entrance. A taxi costs the minimum fare of 9 yuan to get there. If you walk right out of the hotel, you'll find Fendou Road Deli, Fendou Fen Chang, and Qiulin Lidaosi a few hundred meters down, turning right at the corner with Mixue Bingcheng. Everything there is delicious, but be prepared for queues. Getting to the Ice and Snow World by subway is very convenient. On the way back, we got off at People's Square and walked about 7 minutes to Laochujia for some Guobaorou (fried pork in a sweet and sour sauce). As for hotel facilities, they're a bit dated. The family room has a walk-in closet and a living room bathroom. However, there was only one working electrical outlet in the entire room, so we had to take turns charging our devices. There's no laundry room, and breakfast is just average – enough to fill you up, but we couldn't bring ourselves to wake up early enough for the morning market.

The front desk staff were very welcoming. I paid a little over 300 RMB for a 3-night stay during the May Day holiday. The hotel is conveniently located right to the left of Harbin Station as you exit. I'm really happy with the price, though the soundproofing isn't great – I could hear the person next door snoring. There's a Mixue Bingcheng downstairs which is handy, and KFC and McDonald's are further away. It seems to be close to the airport, which makes things quite expensive. The subway entrance is right outside the door. Overall, a pretty good deal for the price.
