"Excellent, hearty and warm service. The airport skybus stop is right in front of the hotel (frequency 40 mins, whole ride 25 mins from or to airport). Room and bed very comfy. Free bottle water and welcome cookies. The trash bins inside the room are too small however. Buffet breakfast is decent too. Locationwise, not the best. No restaurants or groceries nearby (just restaurants inside hotels). Need a bit of walk (5-10 mins) to reach the very centre where the shops are."

"Good location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!"

"Location is superb. Stay was amazing. Loved the view from hotel (you can see mt wellington from balcony). Free parking tip: If you are travelling over weekend. Park in a street behind. You’ll get ample free parking."

"I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. Highlights • Beautiful bay views from the room • Impeccable cleanliness • Super comfortable bed • The Birdcage Bar: great cocktails & vibe • Would happily stay again! "It is a decent hotel located in the city of Hobart. There is a restaurant and cafe in the building. There is a gym if you are into fitness. The hotel does not provide a bottle of water for the guest, so you need to bring your own container and fills it at the gym or purchase it from the convenience store nearby. For those who hired a car, please note if you wish the hotel to park it in a valet parking and retrieve it anytime you need, there will be a cost of A$35 per day."

"The location of the Hotel is in the heart of the CBD and shopping mall is located downstairs, easily to get some essentials from the Woollies . The service is great for the restaurant and the lobby. It would be great if the checkout time is 11 am ."

"I absolutely loved the complimentary welcome cheese platter. The breakfast box was a bit basic, so we just grabbed a quick bite before heading into town for coffee. The town is tiny, but I really enjoyed its quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and it wasn't crowded. Every day, three little ducks would visit our balcony, waiting for cookies, which the kids absolutely adored. Both bedrooms were very clean, and the bathroom was huge. The basic toaster, microwave, and fridge were very useful, and room service was available from the restaurant. The tree outside the front door displayed beautiful changing colors throughout the day, which was very pretty."

"We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel."
