Spa Hotels in Luang Prabang

Our experience at the Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel in Luang Prabang exceeded our expectations! The French colonial-style estate design, with white walls and tropical greenery, creates an elegant ambiance filled with a Southeast Asian resort vibe, making it perfect for photos. The hotel's pool is clean and beautiful, and as evening lights up, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable bedding and a dry/wet separated bathroom. Insect control in the rooms is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and can communicate in Chinese, making them very welcoming to Chinese guests. The free shuttle bus runs to and from the city center and night market, making transportation incredibly convenient. For consecutive stays, airport transfers are also included, saving a lot of hassle. The hotel is quiet yet centrally located, not far from major temples and the night market. The overall service is thoughtful and attentive, making it a top choice for a vacation stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel looks exactly like the pictures online – very exquisite and comfortable. The hotel's shuttle service is excellent. They're always ready to take you out and pick you up, and the vehicles are spotless. WeChat responses were prompt and they fulfilled every request, which was fantastic. The bath towels in the room were fragrant, so I didn't even need to use the disposable towels I brought. The unlimited à la carte breakfast was exquisite and delicious! We had so much every day! There were bedtime sweets every evening, and even cookies when we checked out. I stayed at Le Sen for three nights, and on the day we checked out, we went to Mont Karar. Our whole family wanted to go back to Le Sen! Because every corner of Le Sen was clean, fragrant, filled with smiles, and they responded to our needs promptly. My child said that for all future travels, they only want to stay at hotels like Le Sen – exquisite with excellent service. If I ever come back to Luang Prabang, Le Sen will be my only choice!

The room exceeded my expectations – living amidst the rice paddies was incredibly relaxing. The decor was beautiful, comfortable, and had a fresh, natural vibe that truly allowed for a full rest of body and mind. The shuttle bus to the city center isn't very frequent, so it might not be ideal for those who prefer a lively and convenient location. Mina at the front desk was very efficient and incredibly helpful, and her English was fluent, which was a big plus! The breakfast quality and variety were also great. Highly recommended!

This hotel was in one word: phenomenal! I literally haven’t stayed in a place this good in years. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. There is a super well equipped and clean gym, with all the right equipment and a speaker and aircon. The garden is so pretty. The pool is small but not too small, and refreshing. They provide glass bottles and water taps rather than handing out plastic bottles. The breakfast is so good, with eggs made on demand and barista level coffees. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner and we had an amazing club sandwich poolside. The location is fantastic, walking distance from all the sights and restaurants. But most of all it was the service, especially from Nin at reception. They were so kind. Go stay here, you won’t regret it.

A Dream Stay in Luang Prabang 🌿✨ My recent stay in Luang Prabang was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt surrounded by tranquility and natural beauty. The lush tropical gardens, peaceful swimming pool, and charming traditional architecture created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The room was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared with fresh fruit, drinking water, and everything needed for a pleasant stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the greenery around the property made every morning special. What truly stood out was the peaceful ambiance. Despite being close to the attractions of Luang Prabang, the hotel felt like a hidden oasis away from the crowds. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic Lao charm, comfort, and serenity, this is truly a dream hotel. I left with wonderful memories and would gladly return on my next visit to Luang Prabang.

You come to this hotel to stay at the Explorer Tents. They really are a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience. Air-conditioning in the tents is very powerful, so no problem at all. The toilet area is outside but it's the glamping experience. There are two pools, one at the spa which is just magical and one Main infinity pool. There is a sauna at the spa centre, all free for use. There is a so-called beach where you can actually stand at the banks of the Namkhan River. There are other outdoor activities dotted around. The breakfast options are small but should be enough to satisfy. The location is very secluded, so when you do get to the hotel, you won't be coming out to the old Town, despite having free shuttle services. I opted to book a transfer with the hotel to the airport as I didn't want to risk missing my flight, with no LOCA cars willing to enter this area. I stayed at Explorer Tent No. 2

Really enjoyed our one night stay  . Location is excellent off main market street and nice and quiet . Easy to get to but not suitable for travelers with a lot of luggage as no vehicle access in small walkway however easy if you have backpack or light luggage. Access however by tuktuk ok. Room clean and beautiful with amazing hot large shower.  The manager so helpful and attentive with  a good local knowledge. Breakfast choices great and fresh especially the ‘warm french bread’. Will return again next trip to this amazing little town . A Gem.

This hotel perfectly blends French elegance with Lao charm. From the vintage carvings, courtyard pool, old fans, and louvered windows, every frame feels like a scene from a movie. The bedding is comfortable and the breakfast is exquisite, making it a highly recommended French-style hotel for a stay in Luang Prabang.

The service attitude is first-class. The whole hotel is a bit old, but this is the case in Luang Por Labang. Slash-and-burn farming is a feature of this country. The breakfast is unique and the swimming pool is very clean and you can swim at ease.

My room (6 female dorm) was large, with pool view, ensuite bathroom, good quality hand washing lotion, toilet paper and hot water shower. The bunk beds are good and solid but the mattresses on the thin side (Chinese style). There are no lockers in the room so it can get crammed Previous reviews mentioned ”pool closed and construction side noise” - this was definitely not the case during my stay. The hostel is located some 30 minutes walk from the city centre, thus perfect if you need a place to rest or for longer stays. They offer e-bikes/scooters for rent
