We went there in March and thought it was the off-season and we wouldn't be able to see much, but to our surprise it was the time when rape flowers were in full bloom. It is very close to Chengyang Yongji Bridge, the landmark building of Chengyang Bazhai. The room also has a view of the night view of Chengyang Yongji Bridge."

"This time I came to Sanjiang and stayed at Guangyuezun Hotel, which was unexpectedly good! The transportation is convenient. You can take the bus directly from the high-speed rail station. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Doye Square, the Bird's Nest and Sanjiang Wind and Rain Bridge in the county center. The interior environment of the hotel is also very elegant, reflecting the Dong style everywhere, giving people a different kind of warmth. The room is big, soundproofed, and cleaned promptly. I stayed there for two nights and still felt like I hadn't stayed long enough. "It wasn't as great as people said online. After all, it's just in a county town, and it's still quite expensive for the price. The hardware and decor are indeed very good, but the flow within the building is a bit chaotic, and overall, there's not much in terms of service. There's a doorman, but they wouldn't let me check in first; instead, they made me park the car and then come back up. I stood at the front desk for a long time, and no one bothered to ask if I needed help, or if I was even in the right line. With a bunch of luggage in my hands, no one offered to assist me or anything. The laundry service ends too early, and since there isn't a self-service laundry room like in budget hotels, I ended up having to handwash clothes with soap and hang them in the bathroom, just like 10-15 years ago. The underground parking lot was wet everywhere with water stains, though it had been raining heavily in Sanjiang those days. The window soundproofing is poor; the frogs and insects outside were very loud at night. The hallway soundproofing isn't great either; you can hear doors opening and closing. The air conditioning is terrible; it's too cold, and I couldn't adjust the temperature higher. Plus, there's no screen on the window, which was very uncomfortable. In short, it looks nice on the outside, and the rooms are pretty too, but that's about it. Quite disappointing."

The room comes with a sterilizing cabinet for self-sterilizing teaware and bowls. The bathroom is equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, and you can also use the alcohol wipes provided by the owner for disinfection. There are also disposable towels, showing great consideration for hygiene. The tables, chairs, and bed frames in the guesthouse are all made of raw wood, which is very unique. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. The guesthouse doesn't include breakfast. It was raining that day, so we couldn't go out to eat. We asked the landlady to cook us a few bowls of lean pork noodles with greens and fried eggs. When it was time to pay, she insisted on not charging us. She said that there was an issue with the hot water the night before, and a technician from the county didn't fix it until after 11 PM. She felt sorry for us and said that a few bowls of noodles couldn't make up for it. Her sincerity was truly touching. We'll definitely stay at Sanjiang Drum Tower Guesthouse again next time."

"I came to Sanjiang at the tail end of the Spring Festival holiday. My first stop was Chengyang Bazhai. Then I booked Chengyang Bazhai Hotel, which was ranked first on Ctrip. The hotel is at the entrance of the scenic area. The hotel staff has a very good service attitude. When we arrived very late, the staff also came to the parking lot to pick us up! And they turned on the heating for us in advance according to our arrival time! Worth recommending!"

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, there was free laundry and clothes delivery service, the staff was good, and they were beautiful. They also sent us snail powder. "Our stay at Sanjiang Juyoulou Inn was great and the Inn owners are a sweet, amazing couple that helped us out a lot! We wanted to learn about the local handcraft and the owner helped us to organise a lesson in Chinese embroidery through some of his contacts, which was so cool! They also helped us to book places for the banquet and the festivities at the drum tower, which, through a collab, is also cheaper than if we had booked them ourselves :) On our last day, we left for the rice terraces in a even more rural area, and the owner explained us exactly - with a sweet hand-written note - how to get there with the different busses we needed to take. He also drove us to the first bus stop in his personal car for free. Amazing and kind people, a beautiful room and a nice view :)"

"Passing through Sanjiang, this last-minute booking turned out to be a wonderful surprise. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and the view from the window was stunning. A thoughtful touch was a book in the room about the local Sanjiang Dong ethnic group, offering insights into their culture. Children's toothbrushes and slippers were also thoughtfully provided. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options; we particularly enjoyed trying the local specialty, Sanjiang Youcha, which was quite good. Xiao Yang at the front desk provided exceptional service, and the two staff members in the restaurant were also incredibly helpful. Their service truly deserves high praise! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit."
