"When I was young, I lived in Xiangyang for a year, and from that year on, I, who never used to eat noodles, fell in love with them! I never expected to come back just to see Angela Chang! The concert was electric with thousands of people singing along! Her float performance showed how much she spoils her fans! After the concert, the crowd dispersed quickly, and all the staff did an excellent job! The hotel claims to be the tallest in Xiangyang, and it was indeed comfortable and clean. There were even welcome fruits, truly making me feel the warmth of the Xiangyang people! I left in a hurry this time, but I'll definitely be back! Honestly, the hotel breakfast was quite average, though everything else was excellent, there's still room for improvement. I hope Xiangyang continues to thrive! And Angela Chang too. I thought I might run into her at the hotel, but I missed her. No worries, we'll meet again if it's meant to be."

"I booked a free upgrade, but the hotel reception didn't provide one. When I reminded them, they said it was the platform's problem and they hadn't received the information, so they wouldn't upgrade me. I don't know if it's the platform's or the hotel's issue. Initially, they said they'd apply to the manager to change the upgrade to milk and fruit, but then they said changing it to a child's breakfast would require an application from higher management. A free upgrade is a guest's right, but the receptionist's attitude was as if I were being unreasonable, requiring me to ask for it before they'd change it, and even then, they asked if I wanted more fruit and milk… Does anyone need fruit and milk? It's utterly ridiculous and unprofessional. The customer service at checkout was much better. I only stayed one day and moved to another hotel. I contacted Ctrip but got no response. I hope they take this seriously and address why the hotel isn't receiving detailed booking information to avoid unnecessary trouble. This isn't the first time I've encountered this information asymmetry, and I'm sure I'm not the only one."

It is a nice hotel within walking distance to the city walls. The bed and pillows are really comfy. Breakfast selection is limited but tasty. What really stands out is the exceptional service of the reception staff and also kudos to the female chef at breakfast who is patient with our vegetarian requirement. The only thing is the wifi is pretty weak and breaks often.

Quanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very good. It is easy to find by car. There is a free parking space in front of the door. I have always thought this hotel is very good. The whole hotel smells of lavender. The lady at the front desk is very friendly. The breakfast was rich and fresh. I especially like the beautiful lady working at the front desk. She was so warm and generous that it was hard to say goodbye. The first impression is that it is clean and beautiful, and the room is very quiet and warm to live in, and the service is very good. The room attendants are also very nice, and the breakfast aunt is also very enthusiastic. I will stay here again in the future. It is highly recommended and very cost-effective!

It’s a great value for Money, the room was quite spacious and the service was good, the check-in was also quick and the staff was very helpful. Parking is also very convenient and it’s located at a place where you have enough options for a restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if needed. Only thing I would improve is the quality of tissues.

We had a load of laundry to do but time was short for us. One of the hotel crew FangFang, willingly helped us washed and dry our laundry and put it back in our room, dropping us a handwritten note. It was a very nice gesture from her and she didn't want anything in return. We felt touched by her actions and just wanted to give a shout out to her good service. Hotel is excellent in terms of cleaniless and location. Room space is big too.

The room was clean and the location is convenient, across the street from a shopping mall. The service is very good and friendly but the staff did not provide us with a lot of information on amenities at the hotel. We only found out about them later in the bedroom display. It would be better to have them also at the front desk.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Xiangyang Railway Hotel. First of all, parking is convenient and free, and it is just opposite Xiangyang Railway Station, so dining is also very convenient. There is a bus stop next to it, which is very convenient for buses to the high-speed railway station and tourist attractions. We stayed in a special room in the official building. Although the room was not very big, the service was very good. The sheets and quilt covers were changed every day. At 100 yuan a day, you can also park for free, which is really good value for money.
