I had an excellent stay at this hostel! Gabriel took care of everything for me during three magical days: the first day at the sublime Tumpak Sewu waterfall, the second at the impressive Bromo volcanoes, and the third at the fascinating Kawah Ijen, including the ferry ticket to Bali. She helped and guided me via WhatsApp from start to finish with incredible attention, and I truly felt supported from beginning to end... and even after I left! The service was absolutely top-notch, incredibly friendly and professional. Everything was superbly organized and memorable. I recommend it 1000%! Thank you, Gabriel and your daughters! Exceeded expectations overall! The facilities are excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. Great value for money, definitely recommend staying here. The environment is lovely, the front desk staff are friendly, and the hygiene is top-notch. It's also very convenient for getting around.

It’s a very nice hotel spacious enough , I get an up grade from Mountain View room into bathtub room. Breakfast is complete and variously… And there is a restaurant just across the hotel

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. The location is actually top notch, located close to the city Centre and easy to reach all the most famous destination. The cleanliness is the best by far, I was ordering 2 times to get new towels and they prepared it well. On top of that, I was asking to change the cover of the bed and they did it at their best. The only minor in my opinion, but to me is bothering my last stay at the hotel. On the last day, I was getting breakfast as usual, ordering 2 sunny side up (half cook). I knew it was on Saturday morning and more busy compare the normal days. The cook was quite new I believe, he looked overwhelm with all the orders and suddenly he said that he ran out of the gas. Boom…all the cooking was off, all the staffs looked busy to get a new gas tube. It was around 15 minutes I guess until I came to the egg station again and asked to the same order. The cook was saying okay I will prepare it first then I would be sending to your table. No I said, I will be waiting here because the last time I ordered it he just said yes while other guests was also ordering the same thing. He was even not typing at all then how could he be remembering whose ordering the eggs. All and all, it was still a great experience and ambience to stay at this hotel. I would definitely be staying back in the next visit.

The hotel itself is in the city centre and within a mall which is convenient but it can get very crowded (and jammed) on weekends. The staff are polite and understanding. We had to pay 100k IDR deposit for our rooms but since we were carrying sleeping kids, they let us check into the rooms first. Room is clean but old and basic. The room does not have safe deposit box, unmovable shower head. Basic amenities are dental kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel are 2-in-1 and stuck on the wall. There’s only bath towel (no hand towel). Sound-proofing can be improved since the corridor is not carpeted. Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s ok. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style.

the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. the staff so kind and helpful. its near with train station and city center. i will definetely back to this hotel if i come to malang again! thankss, i had such a great time here

The hotel strictly requires you to pay deposit of 200 thousand rupiah when you already have prepaid full. I don’t see the need to pay a deposit of such amount because theere isn’t any mini bar provided in the rooms. I booked a king premium room with the balcony and with breakfast!! There is no mini fridge at all, no tissue, no coffee and no tea sachets, no electric kettle. The soap is so small and the shampoo and shower gel is very small bottles also. I paid the room with breakfast but The breakfast provided is not even a buffet! For halal breakfast, you have to go next door cafe and the hotel only gave you breakfast coupon of 50 000 rupiah for each person!! And you have to pay some more for the breakfast because the money coupon the hotel gave is not enough to claim for the breakfast food!! Ridiculous service this hotel has. Usually if you paid the room with breakfast, you dont have to pay anything more! Even the hotel towels not clean! The cafe in the hotel at roof top is NON Halal which serves pork. Muslims not recommended to stay here due to non halal food which has pork. Honestly, we didn’t know until we stayed here. Luckily it was only one night. But it was terrible with no amenities and service staffs not welcoming and not smiling genuinely. Only the location is good at Kayoetangan. But you can choose the Whiz Prime Hotel which is better which is nearby and also in Kayoetangan.

Small hotel but the facilities good. The breakfast served is good. However it is not near Kayoetangan. The room size is okay. Staffs are polite. Lobby hotel is small and only one lift to serve the main block.
