GGuest UserThe hotel looks ordinary from the outside, but the interior is very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and will do their best to assist with any questions you may have. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms aren't new, but they're perfectly serviceable, as is the case with most hotels in Indonesia. Across from the hotel is a shopping mall with Burger King, Starbucks, and a supermarket, making it very convenient. The breakfast is mainly local cuisine, though perhaps with careful attention to the spiciness. Most of the dishes are quite enjoyable and tasty, but the Western options are limited. Next to the restaurant is an outdoor swimming pool, making it fun to watch other guests enjoying the water while dining.

MMrEmzThe location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite.
The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous.
The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room.
Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also.

HHook OneStayed there for 3 nights. Check-in was quick. Room amenities were just average and I noticed the bath towels were clean but need to replace as it looked slightly ”brownish” and slightly worn.
Breakfast was just average selections. And selections did not change for the 3 nights I stayed there.
However, it was a nice hotel and welcoming.

the hotel is clean, has a free valet service for car parking, small pool in the 6th floor facing the street.
the staffs are very accomodate what you needs, they also offer us a free upgraded room to deluxe.

FFauzie OsmanThe hotel is strategically located right in the heart of Malang city, next to a mall and a stadium. The room was clean and the service was quick. I stayed with my family for 2 nights during our trip to Bromo. The food at the cafe was also delicious, especially the pecal and coffee. Fantastic!

Pros: Very large room with a cool mountain wall mural. Clean bed and decent amenities. Excellent location walking distance to the train station, the Rainbow Village and the Blue Village.
Cons: The bathroom tub had some black mold spots. Breakfast started a bit later than 6 am, which was an issue due to early morning travel plans. Still, for the price, it’s great value.

MM12452****The hotel's hygiene is decent, and it's quite affordable. It's a good spot for a short break when visiting the volcano. They have a pool, gym, and other amenities, and it's right on the main street. It's really convenient if you're planning to visit the waterfalls and the volcano.

AAnonymous UserThey have variety of food for the breakfast which is great. However, the cafe of the hotel (Napa Eatery & Bar), was not as great. Food took 30mins to serve when my family is the only one there for dinner. The taste of the food was not really on par with the reviews that I've seen.
The hotel services is not as great. They reassured us that they will provide the things that are not in the room (example: iron for ironing clothes), but, we did not receive it.
