"It was the rainy season, so we couldn't see Mount Fuji, but the hotel is very new, and the room is quite spacious for Japan, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It's located behind the outlet mall; if you're coming from Tokyo by bus, you'll need to walk through the outlet and take an elevator up. It's super convenient if you're driving as it connects directly to the parking lot. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, and the private onsen needs to be booked and paid for separately."

The room was really spacious, and we had sufficient space for three big luggages. It also comes with a dining table, chairs, a full-sized refrigerator, and a television. The best of all, the view from our room is superb! We were really lucky, and we managed to see a clear, beautiful view of Mount Fuji straight from our room! 😍 We never expected this for the good price we paid for the hotel room that is rather basic. Buffet breakfast was provided and tasted okay. The hotel parking was quite a distance from the hotel, but the rate was not expensive. Price for value, and I would recommend this stay for budget travellers."

"This hotel is rather new. Only a 5 minutes drive to Gotemba premium outlet. Free parking at hotel. Spacious modern room with lovely Mt Fuji view. Breakfast is ala carte and limited variety. But yummy still.  7/eleven is a 5 minutes walk away. We stayed for 4 nights. and on the second night had a 5.6 earthquake experience. Building shook and everyone is safe. Thank God. Another good thing is there is a washing machine with dryer. Will come back and stay if I and back to Gotemba. The last trip we stayed at Clad hotel which is nice and very convenient as it's just at the premium outlet. If you drive I will recommend to stay at Edit X seven instead.  "

"The twin room was spacious and bright with two windows, but unfortunately we couldn't see Mt. Fuji due to the clouds. We were able to use the large public bath on the first floor, which was very pleasant. It was a shame that the welcome drink time had passed while we were out for dinner. I wish we could have enjoyed it after checking in. I was happy with the coffee service next to the front desk."

"Overall, I'm satisfied. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, even featuring a private indoor hot spring tub, though I didn't get around to using it. I suspect it was a later addition, and from my photos, it looks like the hotel might have originally been in the building with the large logo in front, but the map hasn't been updated. It's actually in the building behind where I'm pointing now, so don't make the mistake of going to the wrong one! The main draw was the affordable price. We were exhausted from shopping at Gotemba and booked it last minute for less than 300 yuan. Some rooms, like ours, offered views of Mount Fuji, though they were partially obstructed by other buildings. If you walk a bit further from the hotel to the open field, you can capture a beautiful panoramic view of Mount Fuji. It's quite close to Gotemba Premium Outlets but a bit out of the way, making taxis inconvenient. However, you can walk about 1 km to catch the free shuttle bus for the Outlets; just follow your navigation."

We also loved that there were receptionist staff available all around the property, making it very easy to get help whenever we needed it. The hotel is packed with convenient amenities. There is a vending machine, an ice machine, a microwave, and even shared utensils available for common pool usage. The onsen (hot spring) facilities were also fantastic and very relaxing. The only downside is the timing restrictions. Both the onsen hours (certain timing) and the breakfast service end quite early in the morning. If you like to sleep in, you might miss out, so make sure to plan your morning schedule accordingly."

Our room was spacious, beautifully designed and offered a relaxing outdoor onsen after a long day of sightseeing. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and shopping areas. The hotel facilities, including the onsen, were excellent and provided a perfect way to unwind. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Japan. We highly recommend Hotel Mars Garden Wood Gotemba and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. "I stayed here for a business trip. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The nearby supermarket doesn't provide free chopsticks, but the hotel thoughtfully placed disposable chopsticks next to the microwave, which was a very nice touch!"

"Lovely hotel to stay in for a couple of nights. Location is a little bit far from places so it is best to have a hire car to do fuji sightseeing day trips. Right next to 2 conbinis which was great for food options as the restaurant didn’t have any vegan food unfortunately. Super close drive to beautiful waterfall/rive and caves to check out."

One of our favorite places to stay! It’s just a 5‑minute drive from the premium outlet, which makes shopping super convenient. The snacks after a hot spring bath and the ramen for supper were such a nice touch and really added to the experience. Be sure to opt for a room with a view of Mt. Fuji—we were lucky enough to see it every morning when we woke up, and you can also enjoy the view from the rooftop (w foot bathing if you’d like) Overall, it’s a lovely place with great amenities and unforgettable views, and we’d definitely love to return next time!

Highly recommend this hotel, though the building looks weird but the view from the hotel rooms, onsen and the free lounge was amazing. However this place is only accessible if you have a vehicle. The public Bath had two outdoor tubs with beautiful view of the Mt fuji. I have stayed with the hotel next to outlet before, in comparison, this was so much quieter, less crowds and better view.

Spacious room 2 double bed Everyday Housekeeping Location near to Premium Outlet. Near to Highway Acess because I'm driving 2 minute walking distance to Halal Local Japanese Food Restaurant. Have in room Sauna which is a surprise, a bathtub and mineral water cooler in the rooms. Very happy to choose this Hotel for our 4 nights stay.

The room was clean, modern, and although not very spacious, waking up to a direct view of Mount Fuji right outside the window was incredible! The parking lot was very ample. Toiletries are free and available for self-collection in the lobby on the first floor. The hot springs were also very comfortable, and the women's bath requires a daily changing password to enter, which feels very secure!

Parking-lots available within and opposite hotel, free for hotel guest, register your car number upon check in Amenity-good shampoo and condition, no lotion Drink bar at hotel lobby-free cold water, self service coffee machine at dedicated time Vending machine-avail at lobby Breakfast-6.30-9am. Recommended take hotel breakfast, charge yourself before start your day Route Inn promotes sustainability-opt in for not daily change towel and mattress, you get token for free drink from vending machine. No worry, they clean your bathroom and rubbish daily

It was such a lovely experience staying at this place. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our dome tent had a superb view of Mt Fuji, we just had to pull the blinds in the morning and admire the view. The private onsen was a great start to our day as it was a little cold in the morning. The tent was nice and cosy, well equipped with a heater, board games, speaker and a hammock that you have to assemble yourself just next to the tent. The location is not difficult to find and it's a few minutes drive away from the little town.

Poor language for front desk. Bad face show us when check in. Need improve in communicate with customer. Bad attitude showing on lady with Wearing glasses. Very bad experience for us. Make a trouble for our family with kids. Will definely NOT COME BACK AGAIN.

This is my second stay here, and hands down, it's the best hotel in the Kanto region, considering the views, location, and price. The hotel dates back to 1895, even a year older than my university! The same lovely and kind old gentleman was at the front desk for check-in; he was so friendly and even gave my child a small gift. Absolutely perfect! They also have a free microwave for guest use, which is very convenient!

Every year when I visit Tokinosumika, I see this accommodation. I've always wanted to stay there, and my dream finally came true. The inside was spacious, and the kids absolutely loved it! Being able to use the Kirakubo baths as much as we wanted was the absolute best part! The only thing was that the lighting felt a bit dim, but that was fine too. I definitely want to stay here again!!

I wasn't particularly particular about what I wanted, but I just wanted a place to sleep in a bed and have breakfast, so I found this place and booked it that day. There was a self-service coffee machine and ice maker, and plenty of amenities. There was a large public bath, so I enjoyed it with my children. The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and Western food. The receptionist was also kind, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The view of Mt. Fuji from the window was beautiful, which was amazing. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity!
