"A short stay in Kamakura while passing through.
Location: Very close to Kamakura JR station, a 5-minute walk. However, the closest convenience store is also there, so it might be a hassle if you check in late at night and haven't eaten yet.
Facilities: I specifically booked bunk beds, and the bedding was fine. But there was a strange, very tall platform in the room, like a bed or a sofa, and it wasn't clean. The hotel has a large hot tub, but no sauna. Milk is 200 JPY, which is decent.
Cleanliness: This was a deal-breaker for me. What was that sticky, glue-like substance on the toilet seat? Disgusting...
To sum it up, it's not great value for money, but okay if you're just passing through for a night."

"Extremely satisfied with our Kamakura hotel booking! We were torn between two options, but since we were traveling with a child, we opted for this one due to its more convenient location. The lobby's aesthetic, coupled with the lush greenery in the atrium, created a wonderfully peaceful (落ち着く) atmosphere. Our room was also spacious and very clean, especially the bathroom, which had a great wet/dry separation and a makeup mirror – I absolutely loved it. There's a convenience store right next door, a drugstore across the street, and the hotel itself has a cafe. Plus, just a short walk away, there's a Michelin-starred ramen place and a delicious tempura restaurant. The more I write about it, the more I want to go back!"

"The room facilities were definitely a bit dated. Rooms are situated on lower floors, the highest being around the second floor. You can see Mount Fuji from the room, though unfortunately, I visited in September so it wasn't snow-capped. If you're planning a visit, I'd suggest checking Xiaohongshu for a shortcut through the wedding shop area; otherwise, dragging your luggage up the hill can be quite exhausting. At 1800 a night, you're definitely paying for the scenic view. The hotel's restaurant recommendations were all excellent. For dinner, we tried Coral Reef, and their curry rice was incredibly delicious. The next morning, we had breakfast at Bills – eating by the sea was wonderfully relaxing."

"A 10-minute walk from the subway station, with various restaurants conveniently located nearby.
This is an excellent building that makes effective use of its steel frame structure and features superb landscape design. It would be a particularly meaningful stay for architects.
The breakfast area is designed like a charming cafe, making everything served there seem delicious.
I spent my time reading and gazing at the rainy courtyard until check-out.
I was very pleased by the kindness of the female staff member who spoke Korean.
While both the room's size and comfort were excellent, there was no charger provided, and I hope the quality of the toothbrushes can be improved.
One morning, despite the rain, I opened the window and enjoyed the delightful birdsong for a long while. It was a relief that the windows here were easy to open and close, unlike in many Japanese accommodations.
As I personally loved Kamakura City, if I ever return, I'd love to experience both a traditional guesthouse and spend my last night here to enjoy the morning before departing."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location. Both Kamakura High School Mae and Enoshima are within easy walking distance, and it's also very close to the Enoden train station. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese tatami-style accommodation experience, this hotel definitely won't disappoint. The only minor drawback is that you might have to wait for the shared bathroom during peak bathing hours in the evening, unless you shower very early or very late. Koshigoe Shrine, located a short distance from the hotel, is very quiet and offers lovely views. Moreover, the hotel owner is incredibly hospitable, and I'd like to express my sincere thanks to her once again."

Hygiene: Good, quite clean.
Environment: The location is excellent, very close to the JR station, and the area is bustling with various shopping malls, restaurants, convenience stores, and arcades.
Service: Very good, self-service was well-implemented."
We are a resort hotel and restaurant in the ancient city of Kamakura. Just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Electric Railway Yuigahama Station, and only 1 minute to the Shonan Sea. Featuring spacious, bright, and airy guest rooms and a large communal bath with a sauna. The restaurant offers course meals featuring seasonal flavors carefully selected from local Kamakura ingredients and various regions. Enjoy a luxurious and exquisite time in the tranquil and charming ancient city of Kamakura, feeling the sea and the breeze.
"We booked 30 sqm room. The room is big enough for family of 1 child. But the room is on first floor - no sea view and small balcony ( not opened view ). Hotel is just 280 meter from train station with small road. The road from the station to hotel is very beautiful with Japanese house. No nearby convenient stores but have one restaurant next to hotel.
Breakfast served at hotel is quite good and served with good service"

"Really great! It's super conveniently located, just a 3-minute walk from the subway station, and you can even spot the suspended monorail nearby. There are abundant dining choices, convenience stores, and drugstores right next door. Self check-in and check-out are available, and you can help yourself to skincare products and toiletries at the entrance – extremely convenient. Getting to the beach takes about half an hour; it's not a direct route as you'll need to transfer at Kamakura Station for the Enoden line. Overall, we each had a private room and found it very comfortable and clean. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Kamakura!"

"The hotel is spacious. Although the equipment is a bit old, it is very clean and the rooms are very hygienic. I feel it is the best hotel in these five days. However, because the place is relatively remote, it is convenient to travel by car. In addition, parking is free."

Great
Ccyysj**Facilities:** Most essential amenities were available, and the room was a decent size. There were no disposable slippers, but that wasn't a major issue.
**Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors.
**Location/Environment:** The hotel is conveniently located near Ofuna Station, making it very easy to visit Kamakura and Enoshima. However, with multiple railway tracks outside the window, it could get a bit noisy when trains passed by.
**Service:** The service was satisfactory.
GGuest UserThe room is very close to the station, the window is the sea, you can see the island of Enoshima, very convenient, clean, professional service staff, will go next time!
GGuest UserI really like the location that Yuigahama is close. It's just the right size to spend alone, and the amenities are fashionable and substantial. It's nice to be able to drink coffee on the water server. Unfortunately, the bathtub and the washroom are not separate, and when I come to such a place, I still want to relax in the bath, and it is very very disappointing that the bathtub cannot be filled with hot water. I wish I had a public bath nearby. After that, towels and bed sheets were a little damp. As with us, when drying with a drum dryer, it seems to have been dry at that time, but it is not dry enough, and I think it is better to extend the drying time a little more.
GGuest UserThe room is consistent with the picture, very warm, the bedroom has a small balcony, there is a separate living room and kitchen area, the bathtub, washing, bathroom are separated, and the space for two people is enough. Self-check-in and check-out, a few minutes walk from Jiangzhi Electric Yaoyue Station and Jiangzhidao Station. It is recommended to get off at Jiangzhi Island. There are many foods around and there are two large supermarkets. There is a temple nearby, and the tram at the entrance of the temple is very popular. If you don't receive the room door password, you can call the landlord at the door. The landlord's attitude is very nice. Recommended stay.
Ssj1403This Japanese-style hotel offered spacious rooms. However, we encountered some issues: a spider found its way into our room, and even worse, my friend caught a very large cockroach in their closet. This made me quite uneasy sleeping on the tatami, as I couldn't help but worry about bugs crawling on me. On the positive side, the location is excellent; it's just a 5-minute walk to Enoden Yuigahama Station, and Yuigahama Beach is a mere 400 meters away, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
MM31765****A very nice guesthouse. Each person gets a small, clean, and comfortable room. The owner, Ah Mao, is South Korean and has lived in Japan for seven years. He speaks Korean, Japanese, English, and a little Cantonese and Mandarin. Ah Mao is very nice; we can chat and eat together on the sofa downstairs in the evenings. He shares food and we play together. There's a small garden on the balcony where you can smoke. I stayed here for two out of my three days in Kamakura and thoroughly enjoyed myself. We even had a BBQ at the guesthouse on my last night. Very nice.
Ssnoopy860430The boss is very nice. If you have breakfast with more than two people, you can listen to the boss's English explanation and communicate with the boss. The boss is a warrior, so I was shocked when I saw him. I thought he was watching the Magic Saint Altar Fighter, but he didn't watch it. It is recommended for males to travel alone. It is not recommended for couples to live together!
YYinchanchanchanIt is very close to the station and Hasedera Temple. But it feels like the only advantage. The dormitory has an iron bed without even a bed curtain. Not only is it very noisy, but the mattress is also very thin. It feels like you are sleeping directly on the iron frame, and you feel very uncomfortable when you wake up. I have to wait until all my roommates come back before I can turn off the lights and go to bed. Unfortunately, the last person to come back last night didn’t even turn off the lights, which disturbed my sleep. The toilet was not very clean and had moths. This is probably the worst youth hostel experience. I feel like the business owner doesn't run the business with any care. Most services require additional charges, such as toothbrushes, towels, slippers and luggage storage.
AAmmmmmberrrRoom view is same as photo show, is traditional homestay so didn’t have private toilet. The way to washroom and bathroom will have warmer but after bath will be very cold in winter. Is super nearby to Kailua station and opposite is one of the famous spot, Komachi St.
GGuest UserIt's really close to the station and there's a convenience store nearby.
But the bathroom space is really a bit too small, and there are no shelves to store things, which is not very convenient.
In addition, the hair dryer is also broken and cannot blow hot air out😥
