"An exceptionally pleasant stay. This hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Ofuna Station, surrounded by numerous excellent dining options, including Jiro-style ramen, BBQ, and fast food, many of which are open late into the night. It's also easy to catch the monorail or train to Enoshima from here. The hotel's service was outstanding, truly among the best I've experienced at Japanese hotels. Breakfast is served until 9:30 AM, which is later than any other Japanese hotel I've stayed at. Plus, their queen rooms feature a very comfortable 1.6-meter large double bed."

"This Muji hotel perfectly reflects their quality control standards; it's practically a 5-star hotel, just a bit smaller. The location is super convenient – there's a small supermarket right across the street and a convenience store next door. A street full of great food is directly across the road, and Hachimangu Shrine is just a five-minute walk away. You can also reach the JR station and electric train in five minutes. Highly recommend for a few days in Kamakura!"

"The hotel is in a very convenient location. There are plenty of izakayas just across the street, making it easy to enjoy local food and drinks. Most of the staff at the izakayas only speak Japanese, but that didn’t stop us from having a great experience. Shopping is also very convenient, with many stores and shopping areas within walking distance. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for both dining and exploring the city."

"It is located in small road and by 4pm you cannot drive on that road so best to check in 3pm. The hotel has parking lots chargeable 1,900 yen per entry till next day 1pm. I didnt use the car once parked and mostly walk around komachi street it is like 8 mins walk. So i am unsure if it allows multiple entries of the car park. Check in smooth, 3pm dropped off bags in room. Went exploring. It has coffee machine to use and public onsen. Similar to onyado but this does not have the ice creams or ramen. But as after heavy walking day, dipping in hot pool and relax is awesome. I stayed in double bunk bed and space was huge. Had a bath tub in shower and separate toilet bowl to allow diff ppl using for diff purpose for getting ready. That day early june typhoon was incoming so it was a rainy day. Was able to borrow an umbrella as car parking lot is about 5 mins walk. Also coffee machine is free to use, grab a coffee before leaving dor the day exploring Kamakura. Overall, really nice place to stay and near the station for those not driving."

"Overall, it was pretty good. Pros: 1. Just a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient. 2. The price is quite reasonable for this area. 3. The staff's service attitude was excellent. Cons: 1. The room was a bit small. 2. Smoking is allowed in the rooms here, so there was a smell of smoke as soon as I entered. 3. Mineral water is not provided in the room. 4. Check-in time is 3:00 PM, which is a bit later compared to other hotels, but you can store your luggage."

"The hostel is very clean, the check in and check out is also very easy. Meanwhile, it's location is pretty much the greatest point easily access to kamakura station and restaurants in the area. However, luggage storage is confusing since there is no clear direction. I left very early in the morning and since there is no staff, I dropped my key as a check out process, and simply hid my luggage in the hostel. But would definitely recommend the place."

"Highly recommend this Kamakura hotel, the breakfast was delicious! The Prince Hotel's room view is absolutely stunning, directly facing Shichirigahama Beach with Enoshima in the distance. It's practically a Kamakura must-visit all in one spot, and there are many beautiful cafes down the hill. Although it's located on a hill, there's a direct elevator from the bottom of the hill up. I highly recommend taking this 'mountain-climbing' elevator, especially if you have luggage – it's super convenient. It's only a few minutes' walk from Kamakura Koko Mae, the Slam Dunk filming location. The entire area is scenic with the Enoden train. Waking up early to take photos there without crowds is amazing. I also recommend taking the Enoden train for one stop, it's only 200 yen, and you'll have a great time!"

"This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward) Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura."

"This was my first time traveling abroad, my first time traveling alone, and my first time flying alone. The hotel receptionist, Umiya, was Japanese, and we communicated in English just like good friends. In the evenings, the common area was filled with people from all over the world – Filipinos even gave me snacks, and there were Koreans, French, and Argentinians. It felt like a crossroads, forming a big, temporary family. It's also incredibly close to Kamakura Beach, just a short walk away. This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at."

"My child and I stayed in a room with bunk beds. While accommodations in Kamakura are generally expensive, this place offered reasonable prices. The friendly and approachable receptionist was very reassuring. The room was clean and nice. It's conveniently located about a 7-minute walk from Kamakura Station."
