Obihiro Hotels with Wifi

"I've always yearned to visit Eastern Hokkaido, so I made a special trip from Sapporo by JR train to Obihiro. The two-and-a-half-hour journey took me through the mountains of central Hokkaido, finally arriving in this central city of the Tokachi Plain on the afternoon of March 13, 2026. Coincidentally, my room number was 313. When I opened the curtains, the JR train station was to my immediate right, and the Obihiro bus terminal to my immediate left. While Obihiro Station is almost encircled by hotels, the Richmond's location is absolutely superb. After getting off the train, I turned right (West Exit) from the ticket gate, walked about 30-40 meters to the end, faced a small shopping mall, and then turned right again (north side). I spotted the hotel immediately, even before exiting the building – no navigation needed! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. After checking in, I quickly went downstairs and explored the area around the hotel. The city was impeccably clean and remarkably quiet. I've never fallen in love with a city at first sight like this before. It's no longer just about whether the hotel is good; now I'm seriously considering moving to Obihiro. The next morning, I started my bus tour early and didn't return until after 9 PM. On the morning of the 15th, I had breakfast at the hotel's buffet restaurant. The restaurant is called 'Ye Guang Bei' (Night-glowing Cup), but it's perfectly fine for breakfast. You can get 'tipsy' even without alcohol here! I love this hotel, and I love this city."

"This hotel offers incredible value for money. For breakfast, you get to choose one of three set meals; the Japanese option was quite good. The service attitude was also excellent. Our room featured a private Japanese garden view, which was very unique and picturesque – definitely worth booking this room type for photos."

"It is located right in front of the Obihiro Bus Terminal and JR Obihiro Station. It is a hotel where you can enjoy the Moru Onsen, and there is a bathing tax of 150 yen per person per night. It was convenient that towels were provided in the hot spring changing room, so we did not need to bring our own from the hotel room. We stayed in a standard double room as a couple, and it was spacious enough to be incomparable to hotels in other major cities. The front desk staff were also friendly, so if I visit Obihiro again, I would like to stay here again."

"Helpful front desk staffs in making reservations of restaurants. Lack of designated seating area for friends to get together to chat. The response of the staffs are rather impolite in rushing us two couples away from the lobby corner."

"The welcome drink included alcohol and soft drinks that you could customize, which was nice. There was a wide variety of amenities. If you check in late, you can't choose your pillow, but you can choose the height and hardness. The location is good, but there is no convenience store nearby. The automatic check-out is easy and convenient. The elevator is narrow, so it can be cramped if there are many people in the elevator."

"I stayed overnight in Obihiro on my way back from a trip to Shihoro. There's a moor hot spring, and I warmed up in it twice. The breakfast buffet had a great view and was delicious! I'm glad I stayed here. The hotel arranged for my suitcase to be sent by courier, and I took the morning bus back to New Chitose Airport. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel."

"Great location, with a lot of great restaurants in walking distance. Room is so small that it was hard to open two luggage’s at the same time. But the cleanliness is impeccable. However, the public bath was kind of disgusting, full of black mold. I decided not to dip myself in the mold soup."

"This hotel's central location in Obihiro was perfect for enjoying the local nightlife. We traveled by rental car, and finding parking was hassle-free with multiple options available (600 yen/day). We opted for breakfast, which was outstanding in both taste and quality. While there's a sauna, it can get quite busy and a bit cramped. If you prefer a more private experience, showering in your room is perfectly adequate. The water quality is excellent. The staff were proficient in English, so communication was smooth and effortless."

"The interior of this former love hotel has been renovated, and the atmosphere has changed quite a bit. While the exterior looks exactly the same, you wouldn't recognize it at first glance once you go up to the second floor. There's an undeniable lack of explanation. For example, how to enter the garage. What was extremely inconvenient was the lack of hanger hooks, let alone hangers, let alone closets. Am I supposed to just throw my clothes on the sofa after undressing? I was relieved that they lent me hangers after I sent an inquiry."
