"The hotel is located by Lake Tazawa. There is a shuttle bus to pick up at Lake Tazawa Station. The hotel staff is very friendly and polite. The room is very clean and the wind and shadow outside the window are beautiful. There is also a family bath, which is very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are included. Food Very delicious, highly recommended. "

"Hotel very near the station, not more than 1 minute walking.
Very friendly welcome. Room was spacious and clean. Window could open and let in fresh air.
In the hotel there was a small restaurant for guests with a nice local food menu. Breakfast was simple, but good. Restaurant ladies were very friendly and helpfull.
They keep your luggage if you arrive early.
In kakunodate things close early (in november?) So take care that you arrange your dinner plans in time."

"I arrived at Kakunodate Station in the morning, checked in at the hotel next to the station, left my luggage there, and went sightseeing on foot.
I was told that they would contact me on my mobile phone when my room was ready. My luggage was delivered at 2:30 pm and I was able to enter my room without any problems.
The entrance is unlocked with a PIN code instead of a key.
The guest rooms, converted from storehouses, are unique and wonderful, and the interior of the two-story building is stylish and comfortable. Dinner was at a local restaurant, and breakfast was delivered at the specified time.
The side dishes typical of Akita served in a birch craft box, warm white rice, and miso soup were very delicious.
On the way back, they delivered my luggage to the station again, so I was able to move around without the hassle of carrying my suitcase.

"Love the location and the private onsen with lake view, you have option to reserve this by yourself so it’s quite convenient as we have a room for ourselves for 30 minutes to enjoy the onsen and the views. The building is quite old from outside but the room and amenities are quite okay, they provided everything you needed for your stay. We would love to go back for the cherry blossoms"

"The hotel is located near the bus station. The traffic is convenient, clean, the dining is delicious, the boss is very hospitable, because I don’t know Japanese, the boss is very patient to use the mobile phone to translate Japanese into Chinese and communicate with me, because I have to catch the plane. The kitchen gets up early and prepares breakfast for me. After checking out, the boss used the translated text to tell me that the snowy road outside is very slippery, be careful, my heart is very warm"

GGuest UserThe most beautiful hotel ever! I really felt like time went back to samurai era. My room , actually was not a room , just a house. Perfectly designed in every detail - even beautiful china. Also very well equipped - whatever you need for your stay - you got it! And bathroom is unbelievable! never seen something so original and beautiful!
And is more - the staff. They picked me up from the station and also next day. Not just picked up - they were so nice to drive me to Samurai residence I wanted to visit!
Fantastic place, great service. I hope to come back!

MMakThe hotel is new and clean. Although the room is small and there is no breakfast restaurant, the service staff are enthusiastic and friendly.
The location is excellent, in the center of Kakunodate, near Samurai House, Hinoki Uchigawa and local specialty restaurants. It was a pleasant stay experience!
