"The hotel lobby is stunning, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering a magnificent view directly onto Lake Toya. Every room also boasts a lake view. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a good variety of dishes, though the quality is pretty standard, nothing to write home about. The hot springs are beautiful, and the infinity pool also faces Lake Toya. It's worth noting that the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to and from Sapporo, which can save you a good amount on transportation costs if you plan accordingly."

"Room size is just nice, after open luggage still able to have walking space. There is public bath available in the hotel. Can see fireworks from the spot infront of the hotel but best to go slightly to the central area near hotel Hanabi to have a whole view of the fireworks. Photo of fire works is from near hotel Hanabi. Ordered Breakfast and it is good too."

"Terrific stay, made easier because of the English speaking staff. We went to the (almost local) ski resort while we were here, which is about 50 minutes away. No complaints about this place, and today, as we're leaving, it's a glorious day that would have been nice to explore the lake area (it was a bit blizzardy for the last 2 days). Back to sapparo now on a bus which takes a couple of hours. Sol is recommended. Here's the onsen password in case you forget (men)."

"Absolutely fascinating, the taste, the style, the service, the food, the onsen, the caring, the details, everything is done with utmost strive for perfection. The set french dinner and Japanese dinner is astonishing, comparable to Michelin star level in our opinion. The staff are super friendly and caring, even though we need google translate at times, they still provided the best service I have ever experienced. The inroom onsen is perfect for family and the toys and tree house in the one and only family room made my kids so happy everyday!"
